There’s no way on planet earth this place is up to code. Got turned around ended up in a food storage area and the meat is LITERALLY on the ground & not refrigerated. Also heard some very obviously underage staff members talking about what was definitely an under the table pay situation and labor law violations. If you can run a country club, you can afford to pay your employees properly above the table & NOT VIOLATE HEALTH LAWS!!?

My uncle and cousins had a horrible experience with rude customer service and heard staff members making racist and weird creepy comments/jokes thinking no one was in ear shot. I don’t know who it was unfortunately, but I’m sure staff does. The course itself was not ideal at all. Go to a place they actually care about their customers and the condition of the course. I rarely ever feel inclined to leave a bad review but after this experience and seeing others has shared similar, it is not surprising.

The course is usually ok. Went mid-Aughst and it's in rougher shape than I've ever seen it. Dry is normal with the lack of rain we've had but so many brown spots, even on the greens. I expect golf courses to maintain the course with sprinklers or at least better watering. Mechanicville, in particular, has been really prone to overly wet areas after any amount rain. So it's unexpected to see this course so dry and brown. The greens fees have steadily gone up the past few years. But the course condition hasn't kept pace. Public courses, like Barney Rd in Clifton Park, are maintained better at half the price.
