The course is very nice and forgiving. It is pretty scenic, my wife and I saw deer, woodpeckers, chipmunks, other wild life. We had a great time playing here again. The course is well taken care of. The staff is very nice, cordial, and professional. They are very honest too. I left my portable speaker on the driver's rail of cart 13. I realized an hour after I left that I had left it on the cart. I called up and the woman on the phone went out and checked the carts twice ! An hour or so later they called me and said they have it and held it for me until I got there to claim it. They are an awesome staff. I offered a reward or something but they refused. We will gladly come here and play ANYTIME ! THANK YOU LIMA C.C. !

Such a great place to play golf. Views of Rochester and the valley area around it are great. Course is well maintained and holes are challenging. Really a wonderful course for anyone. Fall golf is particularly great here

I have played this course for the last 30 years. I remember when they opened the Oaks course and remade The Pines. This year I played both courses back to back days. I know we have been low on rain, but the oaks was hard a concrete. Needed a hammer for the tee boxes. The rough was rock hard and brown. Ponds were all full though. Bunkers were unplayable. Greens were ok. Fairways were ok. Rough was in bad shape (it’s rough but if you play golf you get where I’m going hopefully). Like run the sprinklers in the morning, please. The pines played almost the same way. The signs were destroyed, the course has material right next to some tee boxes as an eye sore. I’ve turned a blind eye for years from nostalgia, but it’s really in bad shape. It’s rough to come back year after year to the same crappy carts, and driving on destroyed car paths and fairways to see a course that’s been a big part of my life falling apart. There’s almost no way to drive smooth over this course certain spots are so bad. This year the driving range wasn’t even open for practice or warm up. Club house is still really nice, and they finally took down the old eye sore club house they let time forget. Hope they can manage to sell it before it’s too much more damaged.

My husband just played 18 holes with 2 friends, after 3 and was charged $40 for the 18 holes. Don’t mind paying the price, but the course was in terrible shape, it was the Charleston pines course. The course was a mess, understandably wet, but not mowed and the conditions were poor. You would think since they knew all this they would have given them a heads up and not charged full rate. Very disappointed this time out and really the last 2 times he’s played. Crossing this one off the list of nice courses!

If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you. We played in 3.25 hrs on a course we've never seen before. Really nice greens. The price is friendly too !!!
