Had a nice long weekend in lake placid. We stayed on a 2 BR suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool, which was busy with lots of other families for the long weekend. House keeping only came by on request, and even then was minimal, just emptying trash and leaving clean towels. One of the reasons we chose this location was the level 2 chargers on site. These were so convenient for charging up over night. We got in fairly early and had no trouble getting one, however when the parking lot filled up, spots were blocked by cars not charging so might be harder to get one later at night.

First of all Cambria was my first choice hotel to stay in Lake placid but we last minute ended booking in Lake placid inn botique hotel and was turned away because of our service dog which never happened before since we’ve been traveling, absolutely terrible terrible hotel and we were so tired from all day on the road. And so we came here and I can’t thank enough the staff Charles, Darlene and Tanamay! Charles was the absolute best and fast, no questions asked and gave us the most convenient location for our service dog in the back by the door on the first floor. He was very kind and patient with all of my husband’s questions, honest and knowledgeable about the area. Darlene as well. We were so happy with everything from the room to the service that we stayed another night for a much higher rate and we didn’t care! and Tanamay omg he saved my husband! He got sick after eating breakfast from outside restaurant, was vomiting violently and having diarrhea! So I called to ask for baking soda if available and he went to check right away in the kitchen but called to say no its not availble. After few minutes, he came knocking and brought us one in a cup! I didn’t even tell him what it was for he just went to a mission to get it! I can’t say thank you guys enough for a wonderful wonderful stay we had! The cleanliness, comfortability and exceptional hospitality is 100/10! I hope this gets to corporate cause these 3 people deserve all the high praises and raise!

Stay away from room 209. Or just stay away altogether. At first I thought we scored a great deal since we had the corner unit. It was like an apartment. While I was unpacking my husband noticed what looked like lady bugs (Asian Lady Beetles) where the wall meets the ceiling in the living room. The more we looked they were all over!!! It the bedroom, in the kitchen, the hallway entry to our suite. We called the desk who sent up housekeeping. The gentleman was vacuuming the ceiling, but couldn't keep up with it. I wish I took pictures of clusters of them before he started vacuuming. My husband had to help reach the valance where they were coming from...and living behind. There was an infestation. Dozens and dozens of them. While they were vacuuming them I found a fly on the coffee machine too. There was no manager on site and it was Columbus weekend. And the young staff insisted they had No Rooms left. The staff said they called the manager, Kristin, who didn't bother to call us to apologize or offer any solution other than to Sleep there that night and would have a room change the following night!!! I was shocked they don't have an extra room or two for emergencies. There were no vacancies within 150 miles. We were left no option at 8pm other than to drive home which was 5 hours away. All we got was a refund for our stay…and we didn’t stay so that really isn’t saying much. Zero accommodations. No call from management.

Me and my friend stayed at the Cambria Hotel in Lake Placid and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay that is close to downtown. It was great to find a hotel that gives you vibe of 7 star hotel. Room was very comfortable, clean and high quality, the bathroom was spacious with a generously-sized tub. The front desk team was not only efficient but also incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to address our inquiries with a genuine interest making us feel like valued guests. To anyone seeking not just a place to stay for a while but an exceptional hospitality experience, I'd strongly suggest reaching out to the Cambria.

I didn’t take pictures or videos of my hotel room. I should have done that, but forgot. The hotel is very nice, very new. It has a nice restaurant downstairs. The rooms are new and very modern. They are located on the edge of the lake and have a very nice fire pit setup. It’s close to a lot of hiking trails and a short drive from Main Street in lake placid. I would stay here again on my next visit.
