I really enjoyed my round here. After seeing all kinds of reviews my expectations were mixed. Hopefully this will help others who fancy playing this course. (I belong to an RTJ club in NY which is impeccably kept and play off 3). Pro was very welcoming and suggested its a good walking course, so I walked. I'm 54 and I enjoyed my walk greatly. Grass range is long and well kept. There's a small chipping and bunker area and two putting greens to warm up on. The course is a nice layout and I particularly liked the greens among trees 11, 12 and 18. Par 3's were all interesting. The greens aren't the fastest but good condition and speed for a public course. I got there eventually! Many are quite flat but don't count on it (16!!!) Fairways aren't in great shape so I played a little preferred lies. They've redone the bunkers on the first 9 which look great. Back 9 to be done next year. The slope and rating seem very generous from blue tees which I played. If you want a fun round with some interesting par 3s and some other good holes. If you don't want a frustrating course. If you want a nice welcome. Then play here. I'd come again when in the area. And when they do the rest of the bunkers and perhaps reseed the fairways it'll be even more of a pleasure. Thank you.

Great course and very good staff. Greens are very challenging and in great condition. My only complaint is that the course is not marked well and the bunkers on the back -9 are very poor.

Very disappointing. Because it's at the higher end of prices in the area, was expecting a premium experience, but the first cut was so long that balls a yard off the fairway disappeared completely, leading to frustrating search for shots that should be totally obvious. A previous reviewer noted that the directional marking is not great--that's true. If you don't know the course it's too often time-consuming to figure out where the next tee box is. And the back 9 didn't have a single useable bunker--every one completely washed out.

I was very excited to play here, but it was super dissapointing. The tee boxes were in rough shape, sand traps hadn’t been maintained in years, no ball washers, and no sand on the carts to repair divots. The fairways and greens were decent enough, but I expected much more from Cornell’s golf course. Andy Bernard would have been embarrassed by the shape of this course.

I wasn’t necessarily expecting the TPC here, but this was the most unpleasant golf course experience I’ve ever had. We were told the range was open until dark, but we turned up at 6 and the ball dispenser was closed. We practiced some short game, but the green was in rough shape and the sand trap was half flooded and half packed dirt. I had a few range balls in my bag so we decided to hit those when a guy rolled up to tell us the range was closed… at 6:50pm!! I can’t believe that no one wants to play after work. Also, the range is turf and you can’t tee up… no practice on the driver? This was just a bizarre place, not welcoming, and poorly maintained.
