Normally this course is fun, just the right level of difficulty and over all friendly staff; however one employee knows how to ruin the entire experience. He is either a course ranger or at the front desk in the pro shop. A bit on the heavier side with long salt and pepper hair. We come here 2-3 times a week and even began taking lessons from the course pro, Devin, who’s amazing. But when you have one staff member continuing to double down on an issue of having an extra walker with you on the course. Then after talking it out continuing an issue, while then not enforcing the rule to anyone else. Allowing people to walk their dogs through the course while we were finishing up. Personally, I have no issue with the people walking their dogs on the course, but if we’re going to make a big deal about walking the course, be consistent. Normally very pleasant but, a bad enough experience to really sour the whole course experience.

We had a beautiful day! I’m a beginner. It was difficult but so much fun! The golf course is absolutely beautiful. The food at the snack shack was delicious! We’ll definitely be back.

Layout of the course is unique in some aspects which is cool to me. I like the island green even though I missed it...twice haha. The major complaint I have is how hard the ground was across the entire course. It could use some irrigation improvements or something that may help with the hardness. Greens were incredibly fast and dry even in the shaded spots that hadn't seen sun yet that morning. Pro shop was good and liked the Pro in the shop. Starter was personable and the course staff were available and helpful as needed. Not sure if I would return.

Lots of Pros and Cons for this course. Focusing on the course, this place is very good .... though can be great provided owners continue to make improvements. Fairways and greens in very good shape; several new tee boxes coming into form. Wide variety of interesting holes ... length critical on many holes (including 580 yd par 5); while position more critical on some others. I think a few adjustments needed to make more enjoyable for mid to hi handicap golfers. Island green is cool, but too long from whites at 155-175 yds ... TPC Sawgrass is only 115 from whites! ...need a new tee box, perhaps along the shoreline between current white tees and current senior tees. Hole 7 is unplayable as a par 4 except for long hitters ... need to either get rid of tree in fairway, or remove trees on corner approaching green. Hole 15 has a similar problem with tree blocking approach unless long off tee. Beyond the course itself, 2-day tee time policy is a detractor for me ... usually like to firm up plans much further in advance. Be prepared for a facility lacking curb appeal. I am personally thankful that immediate focus of new owners has been on the course ... but if you are looking for nice dining/clubhouse facility, that appears to be still a ways off.

Olde Post Road for people that are not aware was the executive course that was previously known as evergreens country club, for all golfers that have previously played this course when it was evergreens You're in luck. Old Post road has done amazing things with this course. They have improved the course in all aspects fairways, greens, and from what I could tell this layout is very similar but they have definitely improved as far as landscaping goes. Can't wait to see what they do throughout the years at this place. Old Post road is owned by the owner of burden lake if you are familiar with that course you know the standard they hold. I 100% give my approval and encourage everyone to give it a go. Also for anyone that has played here back in the day The other course that was on the property is not open anymore and from what I hear will be housing. One more thing I should add if you plan on making a tee time on the weekend they are busy and you will need to pay upfront at least one person's green fee from the group, Just something to keep in mind.
