If you are looking for a treat yourself experience this is it! We love how pretty the grounds are and my husband loved playing golf here. The rooms are really clean and nice, the bistro restaurant has yummy breakfast, and the shuttle is super convenient and they will take you anywhere you’d like to go in town. Highly recommend!

The location and scenery are 10/10. Unfortunately, the service was nowhere near the standard you’d expect at this price point. Front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, making check-in feel like an inconvenience. Housekeeping ignored our requested service times and, when asked to clear trash and restock waters, only brought the waters and left the trash. The Bistro got every single breakfast order wrong during our 5-day stay — food was good, but service was consistently sloppy. The worst part was checkout: the valet team lost our car keys for several hours. We waited nearly 40 minutes without any communication while dozens of other guests got their cars. The valet manager promised to refund our parking fees, but of course, that never happened. The only positives were the scenery and the concierge team, who were actually helpful. Everything else was disappointing and far below the level this resort markets itself at. Save your money: enjoy the property as a day visitor, then spend it on the Edge tasting menu — a true 5-star experience, unlike the resort itself.

We had a wonderful time and overall our stay was extremely positive. We were there for our baby moon and we really enjoyed our time. There were three things that we struggled with. One: our room was never cleaned unless we explicitly asked the front desk to request it. Two: we had no idea until we got our final bill that we had to pay for parking. And because we stayed for a long time… it was extremely expensive- hundreds and hundreds of dollars. We didn’t touch our car while we were there so we would’ve definitely returned the rental car and re-rented at the end of our stay. With such an expensive place, it felt frustrating to have such an extensive hidden cost. Three: my spa experience was exceptional and I really loved it. However, I was asked if I wanted unscented oil or citrus. I picked citrus thinking nothing of it. When I checked out, I saw that the citrus oil was a $50 add on. I told the woman at the front desk that I was never notified that this was an upcharge and I would’ve never chosen it if it was positioned that way, she just said “oh, sorry about that!” I was really, really surprised that they didn’t dig into that more or offer to remove the charge. Again, with such an expensive place, (my massage was already $250), it seemed disrespectful to sneak charges in there. Overall, we really loved our stay, there’s no denying how gorgeous the resort was, but those three things left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

We stayed here for a wedding and the property is absolutely beautiful. We loved the convenience of the shuttle and I liked the coffee from their little cafe a lot. Room service was quick and pretty solid. We were on the first floor and I’m glad I paid for the lake view room, it was wonderful to be able to walk out the open patio and see the lake. The restaurants (brooks and the bistro) had terrible service and I left separate reviews for those. Overall, we liked our room, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the property is beautiful. I’d probably not recommend dining on site though.

It was our first time in Tahoe, and since my husband wasn’t feeling well and I’m pregnant, we chose Edgewood because it seemed to have everything we’d need in one resort and it really does. The setting is stunning the views are even better in person than in the photos, with plenty of activities for families. The golf course looks like something out of a fantasy, and we’ll definitely be coming back to play and to explore more of Tahoe. The restaurant was great, and our room was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. Service was a mixed experience. The valet team was excellent so warm and attentive — but the concierge fell short. When we asked about booking a boat, we were told it would be easy to arrange the next day, but when we tried, another staff member informed us it was already fully booked. We ended up having to drive out and rent elsewhere, which was disappointing for such a high-level resort. Overall though, Edgewood Tahoe is a beautiful place to stay, and we’d love to return with family for a longer visit.
