My annual trip to Mesquite isn’t complete without a visit to the Oasis Golf Club. The Canyons and The Palmer Courses two gems not to be missed. This trip, however, I only had time for one of them and The Palmer had a tee time that fit best. The people are very friendly, EVERYWHERE: A fellow who brought a cart to our car in the parking lot; Pro Shop counter staff; starter; on course refreshment folks; all had a smile and made us feel like valued guests. That goes a long way to making the experience more enjoyable. But we’re here to play golf and the course was in great condition. Fairways were terrific and provided lots of desert roll, extending the distance of great drives while providing better than expected results for drives that were not hit squarely. The greens were very firm and while they did not hold very well, they putted true. I forgot to mention the pre-round breakfast at The Worden restaurant- excellent food at reasonable prices with friendly service. And since we still had time before tee off, my wife was impressed with choices in the Pro Shop, buying 2 tops and a pair of FootJoy sandals- $286. I thought it was going to be cheaper having her golf with me because that would be 5 hours away from the shopping mall-HA! Thanks to everyone at The Oasis who made our day so much fun.

They charge $195 for $100 course. We have played the Palmer side many times over ten years. This is the worst shape we have seen it. The fairways were very dry and brown in many areas. I don't know if they have water rationing or what is going on. I will give them an A+ for the greens. We will not be back to this one. There are many courses in St. George better than this one. Coral Canyon and Sky Mountain to name a few. Both are around $100. I can't believe people actually pay $18K to join. Don't waste your money. The round was 4 hours and 45 minutes.

I really enjoyed my quick 4 hr , 20 minute Round today! The course played great.. very fast greens, lush fairways.. outstanding views. A couple of the greens were a bit slower, ... But a fun place.

Great course but godawful service. Started our group an hour late then kicked us off the course before we could finish. Also refused to give my local discount. I got like 7 range balls to warm up. No refills to be found. Every 2-3 holes we were being eyeballed by the ranger out there. Cart girl had last call when we were on hole 6. Lol luckily we had our drinks bought already. Explained my poor experience and they said twilight isn't a guarantee to finish, but when they start us an hour late I expected a little leeway. There was at least another hour of light before dark when we were booted. Yes, it escalated and the convo was heated. This was my birthday and my dad flew in from out of town for this. Both of us said there were better places to play in Mesquite as well as Vegas.

We played Canyon and it was playable condition. The staff are very nice and helpful. I hope to play Palmer course next time.
