Set along the Souris River with surprising elevation, Westhope mixes scenic tee shots with approachable targets. The course was rebuilt in the early '90s and has a loyal local following. Yardage tips past 3,100 from the back tees, but tree lines and a few water looks keep strategy interesting. Greens are fair and reward solid approaches more than trickery. It's a relaxed, value-oriented stop that's prettier than you might expect from the highway.
