Description

The newest of the Big Cats, Leopard's Chase showcases Tim Cate's dramatic bunkering and risk-reward lines. Wide fairways feed into bold green contours that ask you to use slopes creatively. Stone-lined water features and exposed sand create striking visuals without forcing unfair carries. Bentgrass greens roll quick when firm, rewarding confident putting. From forward tees it's scenic and forgiving; from the tips it has real tournament teeth.

Beautiful course. Very hard on a windy day. Don't play if you're new to golf. Staff was great.

Golf Course is in beautiful condition and playing tough. Water, bunkers, and waste bunkers await you on nearly every hole... so be accurate to have a good day. Only downside is the beverage cart is cash only, so make sure to have some on you if you're thirsty.

Great! plantation supposedly the signature course here. it has definitely been overplayed. the conditions weren't great even though the weather certainly was. that being said, very nice layout. great starter. the clubhouse however, was a little awkward considering the other three courses in the plantation had phenomenal luxurious clubhouses and this was basically a glorified trailer. I really didn't understand that outside of that couple really good memorable holes and a very unique signature. whole number 18. I would definitely come back and play here again

4.5* Played here for the first time since 2011 I believe. Seen some rough reviews the past few years and have been intrigued to see for myself. My experience today was awesome. First off Google takes you to tigers eye club house which is silly and not the courses fault, but some extra signage would be nice. I had the first slot of the day and everyone was very nice. Guys at bag drop and club house very pleasant. Shout-out to starter Mr. Bob. He was hyping me up at the turn and when I finished the round. Course was in great shape. Greens were awesome and maybe the best I've played. Including dye and love at Barefoot, and prestwick. Prestwick was the only competitor imo. Fairways for the most part we're nice as well. A couple had some random spots here and there that we're a little beat up, but didn't effect my experience. A couple tee boxes were a bit meh. But it was only 2 or 3 and they were growing grass out in other spots where they didn't have us teeing off. The only bad one was 11. The apron at the 13 was basically grassless in quite a bit of it. but hit it on the green of a short par 3 and that's not a problem ;) . Layout is really tough. You can get in trouble with water and trees/ob. Have to be on point with driver. Green complexes were nice. Recently redone greens and it showed. Quite a bit of flatish to subtle undulation. And a few with large mounds differentiating levels. Got in trouble with this a couple times. I would for sure play again. I don't know how the other courses are playing right now, but for sure would like to see Tigers eye.

I played Leopards Chase for the first time. What a wonderful challenging layout. It exceeded My expectations. The course conditions were excellent for January. Tees overseeded and excellent, fairways were lightly overseeded, with the underlying dormant bermuda and overseed allowing the ball to setup. The dormant rough was excellent to play from. The new ultradrawf bermuda greens were true and the perfect speed. I'm a drone pilot, you need low altitude aerial photos and hole flyouts to showcase this wonderful layout. Very few exist online.
