had the opportunity to play Grandfather Golf and CC. Thanks goes out to the golf staff, Jonah (director of golf)) & Michael (head pro) allowing my foursome to play this magical course. It didn't disappoint, I felt like I was at Augusta National in a mountain setting. Course was challenging, greens (fast) were like playing Pinehurst 2 before a major event there. If given the opportunity in the future to play here again I would be back.

This golf course in 5 words: “if you like them perfect”. But be warned. It’s as tough as nails. Expect to shoot 8-10 shots higher than your normal round due to tight fairways, lightning fast greens, and a challenging layout. But the stunning views on almost every hole will make the pain more bearable. Maybe the best course in the state. Definitely top 3.

The pimento cheese is the best I've ever had anywhere it's got a very wonderful smoky accent to it that I never thought of adding to the dish that sets in above all others id go just for that and I'm not really a pimento cheese kinda girl until I tried this one.
