Staff are selective on who plays here. I am a beginner level player and I was denied from playing here and was told to come back during the week because of a new rule. I understand that there are rules in place, but denying a new player from playing on their course is not right to me, especially on a first come, first serve course and I showed up early in the morning but still denied. I was thinking of becoming a member since I live 2 minutes away but I guess they are selective of who plays here. Not sure if I would be going back here again which is unfortunate.

Dan Arthurs and the Cherryville Golf and Country Club catered and provided rentals for my wedding and all I can say is WOW! It was truly fabulous. Dan turned my grandmother’s garden into a complete wedding venue. I knew when I decided on an outdoor reception at the house, that it would be risky. We had never had an event of this scale there before and I didn’t know quite how to picture it. I described that I wanted simple, southern elegance and Dan pulled it out and made it perfect! We booked him for the full meal – passed hors d’oeuvres, a served salad, buffet dinner, and four bartenders. They also cut and served the cake. I am still in shock and awe! As well as catering, he rented us tables, chairs, and linens - and created custom linens as well! The food was delicious and expertly presented. The bartenders took wonderful care of my guests – as well as my husband and me! The tables and linens looked stunning. I completely trusted him to bring about the experience that I wanted, and I am so happy that I did! My reception was elegant, beautiful, and perfect. It literally could not have been done without Dan and his fantastic staff. I am still so thrilled with how it all came together! Every single detail was absolute perfection.

A great local place to see old friends and make new ones. Small town personal service with a surprisingly good selection of menu items. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
