Do not waste your money on this course. Unhelpful staff; no heads up that half of the course was closed, and they don’t tell you where to find a cart. Bad course management, the grass was long and not kept up with. Bunkers are un playable and unfinished. Go play any other course in las cruces and get your money’s worth!

Course is nice a green but they're modifying the course and there are bulldozers working literally up by the green when you're trying to play; workers don't take into consideration when you're on the green or approaching. Literally saw my friend's ball covered up with dirt on our approach. 🙄

For me Red Hawk is my favorite course and I say that even though it is again for me the most difficult course I play. The course is for the most part in good shape. Sure there is currently improvements going on to reducing the size of sand traps and eliminating some. All these changes will benefit most golfers. Overall it's a good looking layout. Also the driving range is second to none. Always enjoy the time I spend there playing golf.

The year long course renovations are nearing completion. While some areas are a little rough, the greens are great and fairways grown in. Most of the new bunkers are finished and are a vast improvement. Don’t make a mistake and pass on a round here because you heard it’s being renovated, most of the work is done.

Course is in terrible shape. $41 is way too much for the how bad the fairways, rough, and bunkers are. Staff did not inform me of the cart return time. The starter did when I got to the first tee. I was near the 18th green with at least 20 minutes of playable light left and the ranger was hounding me to pick up my ball. Terrible experience, I would avoid completely if you enjoy a quality playing experience.
