Our group had an exceptional 5-Star experience at Owl’s Nest Resort! The location was easy to access from New Hampshire and set in a scenic, peaceful environment. The resort’s brand-new accommodations, well-appointed pro shop, and impeccably maintained golf course made a strong impression. The course itself offered the perfect blend of challenge and stunning views of the White Mountains, staying true to its New England character. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, and the resort’s layout was thoughtfully designed to cater to both golfers and non-golfers alike. One of the standout moments was dinner at Panorama Six82. It was incredible value, generous portions, and truly memorable flavors. The steak and apple pie were among the best I’ve ever had. The following morning, we had a delicious breakfast at Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions, conveniently located near the golf cart check-in. The meal included a hearty breakfast sandwich, a side of fruit or yogurt with granola, and fresh-brewed coffee, perfect fuel for another day on the course. We received numerous thank-you notes from attendees, many of whom are already eager to return. Overall, Owl’s Nest delivered a 5-Star, memorable experience for our group. I highly recommend it for a golf getaway or group event!

Will write two reviews - one for the golf course and another for the resort itself. Driving range doesn’t have a lot of hitting stations and underwhelming, particularly since it was mats only, and the mats themselves looked to be quite used given the indentations where most golfers hit their ball. Overall golf course was in decent shape. Greens rolled relatively true although a bit slow. Fairways had some drainage issues on a few holes but for the most part were smooth and well manicured. The tee boxes on a number of holes were disasters. Whether they were chewed up, unbelievably narrow or severely sloped, the tee boxes need some work. The course had typical mountain elevation changes and some unique designs which made it interesting and had to think a bit which is nice. We stayed on site so for $100/round, not a terrible price but I left wanting a bit more for my money. As much as the marketing materials want you to believe this is a destination golf course, it isn’t. Likely won’t return unless in the area…. Resort accommodations and overall layout of resort is a problem. Finding where to check-in or seek help was challenging. No signs of any kind. We had a mobile key which was helpful, but the AC in the main bedroom within the lakeside villa we stayed at didn’t work. Hot water was inconsistent and had to ask on separate occasions to please fix. Sliding doors out to patio are loose and let all the sound in, particularly from the wedding 75 yards away. Kitchen didn’t have dish towels, had to purchase a can opener at general store which I left for the next renter, inconsistent check out times posted on website vs. in room, no trash bags on the first day and had to ask for them, housekeeping arrived daily after indications were there was no housekeeping. These villas are very new and on the surface look nice, but have significant issues already and just generally disorganized. The Owls Nest property itself is kind of a mess. Under construction every where you turn and from reading about the history of this place, seems to have been in this state of construction for many years. Owners clearly want to make this place into something, and there is potential, but lack of organization, cutting corners, starting projects before finishing previous ones and overall green scape leaves a lot to be desired.
