Absolute gem of a course. I absolutely love it. Extremely challenging, narrow fairways, tricky greens. This place is a dream or a nightmare depending on how you are playing. LOVE IT

Some people say that Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. I disagree, TOB golf course is the happiest place on Earth in my opinion! Simply the best public golf course on the Island! This is my home and I am welcomed like family when I arrive. From there the golf course is maintained in a way that only private courses generally see. Pace does slow down after noon or so but you have to understand that this is a surprisingly difficult course which a lot of people don't understand until playing. The layout is fantastic and Fazio did an incredible job. I hope that i'll be able to continue playing this amazing course for decades to come!

Absolutely phenomenal golf course!!! Best conditions I’ve ever seen for a public course, country club quality. Not very long but several tight fairways and extremely difficult greens. No two holes are alike. Truly an absolute gem!!! My only gripe is not having any logo balls so I can add to my collection. Regardless I am not considering a membership next year after only playing twice. Update: a year later and I will say with conviction that the two best kept public courses on the Island are Bethpage Black and Town of Oyster Bay. TOB is my personal favorite course to play and has become my home! Another update: 2 years later as of now, and it’s only gotten better!!! TOB is my happy place and I feel like family when I check in. Such a challenging course but unbelievably beautiful and so much fun.

Absolutely beautiful course for a public course. Very difficult course though. Geared towards more experienced golfers. Very hilly, narrow fairways and fast/narrow greens. A ton of fun though!

Front 9 is very hilly and challenging. Back 9 plays more downhill and more flat. Well maintained course that’s as close to a private course. Ball washers at every hole. Large putting green and driving range available.
