Very solid course with some fun holes and great scenery. Highly recommend.

What an awesome place. Little gem in the Adirondacks. Probly the best golf I've had all year. Brand new golf carts, very nice tight course.

Absolutely beautiful the front 9 is wide open back 9 is a little tight the staff there are very friendly they take excellent care of the course in great condition love the electric carts there with the range finder built in if you like to listen to music has a Bluetooth you can hook up to play music food was very good I highly recommend this course

Currently on this course and cannot wait to get off of it... greens are absolutely atrocious (burnt and untended) trash strewn on tee boxes.... played great on the front 9 finished in 2 hours but still approached by staff twice before the turn. Staff member stressed our group had to pick up after telling us 4.5 hours was the expected time for a round but the members were getting upset... then sat on the tee box to supervise our drives. Mind you we had 2 groups of 4 that spent $650+ on alcohol play and merchandise. Please do yourself a favor and find another coure if you're looking to enjoy your day without people breathing in your mouth all day and ruining a good day 🤷‍♂️

I played Thendara four times last season (2022) and I must say I was very impressed. Thendara is a true northern golf course, featuring picturesque views, undulating fairways and greens, and very tame deer that wander the golf course. This course is their land, we are just playing on it! One thing I must brag about is their golf carts! They are all electric, and are equipped with GPS systems that depict accurate yardages to the pin, and even allow you to connect via Bluetooth to play your choice of music as you play! The front nine offers a wide open layout, allowing golfers who may spray the ball to recover easier from errant shots, while the back nine is tighter, constructed in the woods, making it more of a challenge to hit each shot straight! My favorite hole on the golf course is Hole 12, a beautiful Par 3 that sits in front of Moose River. The pro shop staff is very friendly, as are the starters. One time this past summer the course was a little backed up and busy with golfers, and the starter even recommended I play 2 balls if I wish, to alleviate the slight wait time. Very laid back and friendly! The staff made me feel at home. In closing, the course is conveniently located just minutes from Old Forge, where I typically like to end my golf outing and grab a bite to eat at Tony Harper’s, a great spot to get a fresh pizza and beer! I even got my first ever eagle on Hole 8, witnessed by two of my friends. A 150 yard wedge shot into the green that rolled right in! (Pictured below) If anyone is ever considering playing this course, it’s the BEST in the area!
