Very nice place to spend a day golfing. Mary Lou took care of me and I had a great time playing! There is also a friendly cat that is hanging out around the green!

Don’t be fooled by the 5-star reviews. Poor condition, rude staff (yelled to the family with 7-year-old daughter. ) We visited Sag Harbor Golf Course for a family round after a wonderful weekend in Montauk. My wife, our 7-year-old daughter, and I played 9 holes as a 3-some, finishing in about 1 hour and 50 minutes — definitely not slow play. The course conditions were already below average (as other reviews mentioned), but we didn’t mind much — we just wanted to enjoy family time together. However, what completely ruined the experience was a rude and unprofessional staff member near closing time. Around the last hole, a clubhouse staff suddenly came over and yelled at us to return the cart immediately because the park was closing — even though no one told us about a strict 6:30 PM return rule when renting the cart, and there were even tee times listed for 4:45 PM and 5:00 PM. He even walked up to my wife and raised his voice in front of our 7-year-old daughter, demanding the cart be returned “right now.” My daughter was so frightened she thought she had done something wrong and got off the cart in tears. Even when we calmly returned to the clubhouse, the same man kept shouting and waving his hands to hurry us up. It was shocking to see such behavior — especially toward a family with a child. We’ve played at many public courses, but I’ve never experienced such disrespectful treatment. The course itself was in poor shape, and with staff behavior like this, it’s not worth the high green fee. Sadly, we’ll never come back. Don’t be fooled by the 5-star reviews. this place only treats locals they know well with any respect. If you’re not part of their circle, don’t expect friendly service or fair treatment.

I have been to this golf course twice, and to be quite frank, it was the two worst experiences I have ever had. Never could I have known how much individuals could take the fun out of such an amazing sport. The group of old gentleman on the porch did nothing but berate my friends and I. Not only this, but the course was abysmal. It’s as though they are keeping it in awful shape on purpose! I recommend that you never come here. If you have self respect, stay away.

Great hidden gem. Set your expectations to the price and enjoy the game in a natural state.

This is a 9-hole golf course in the Hamptons for a great price. Sure the greens are tiny, and maybe some of the fairways aren’t perfectly maintained, but it’s fine. Plus it’s bigger than Poxabogue which is 10 minutes away.
