Facility is nice and the course looks great. Wish the wifi was a bit stronger, but not usually a problem.

The course is a great course. Fun. But recommend you don’t run in to the owner. The owner is cheap. Doesn’t have any common courtesy when it comes to golfers on his golf course. He will mow fringes and greens in front of you for a whole 18 holes, turn sprinklers on, when you or your clubs are on or around the green and doesn’t care if they or you get wet. He is not afraid to interrupt you during your round for any reason. I’ve witnessed it as been a part of it. I’ve been a member on and off for acouple years for these reasons. I just bought a membership recently and after my first day walking for free on the course my bag gets soaked from him seeing me and my golf equipment near the green and continues to tune them on. Long story short I immediately regret purchasing a membership. If you looking to play a round of golf with friends. Sure but if your looking for a good, fun competitive membership and atmosphere to better yourself and golf game this isn’t the place for you. I recommend seeking membership elsewhere

I have eaten there several times this year. Every meal has been delicious, the service superb, and the drinks well made. The steaks get done to perfection. The beef stroganoff was great. Salmon was top notch. Our waitress Heather was always efficient, fun to talk to, and just the right amount of attentiveness.

Very nice course, well maintained and CHALLENGING! Sloped greens and drastic elevation changes make this a tough, yet enjoyable course with some beautiful views. However the staff is difficult and treats paying customers poorly. I've golfed many courses and country clubs and have never been treated as badly as at Canasawacta. The guy at the pro shop follows golfers and tournament participants to make trouble. Our foursome payed approximately $400 at the course in 1 day and still got harassed by this guy. He stole items out of our cart in front of our faces and did not return them. I have also NEVER been told by course staff to "hurry up" and catch the group in front of us when there is NO ONE playing behind us. We were hurried, harassed and treated very poorly for tournament participants who financially supported the course. Canasawacta will never get my business again.
