The hotel is very short distance from the Main street, Thats very convenient . Hotel is clean, Front desk staff are very helpful and respectful. Hotel room is spacious and super clean. Bar is good with decent beers and food. The chicken wings are the best.

Had a nice long weekend in lake placid. We stayed on a 2 BR suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool, which was busy with lots of other families for the long weekend. House keeping only came by on request, and even then was minimal, just emptying trash and leaving clean towels. One of the reasons we chose this location was the level 2 chargers on site. These were so convenient for charging up over night. We got in fairly early and had no trouble getting one, however when the parking lot filled up, spots were blocked by cars not charging so might be harder to get one later at night.

Stay away from room 209. Or just stay away altogether. At first I thought we scored a great deal since we had the corner unit. It was like an apartment. While I was unpacking my husband noticed what looked like lady bugs (Asian Lady Beetles) where the wall meets the ceiling in the living room. The more we looked they were all over!!! It the bedroom, in the kitchen, the hallway entry to our suite. We called the desk who sent up housekeeping. The gentleman was vacuuming the ceiling, but couldn't keep up with it. I wish I took pictures of clusters of them before he started vacuuming. My husband had to help reach the valance where they were coming from...and living behind. There was an infestation. Dozens and dozens of them. While they were vacuuming them I found a fly on the coffee machine too. There was no manager on site and it was Columbus weekend. And the young staff insisted they had No Rooms left. The staff said they called the manager, Kristin, who didn't bother to call us to apologize or offer any solution other than to Sleep there that night and would have a room change the following night!!! I was shocked they don't have an extra room or two for emergencies. There were no vacancies within 150 miles. We were left no option at 8pm other than to drive home which was 5 hours away. All we got was a refund for our stay…and we didn’t stay so that really isn’t saying much. Zero accommodations. No call from management.

Me and my friend stayed at the Cambria Hotel in Lake Placid and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay that is close to downtown. It was great to find a hotel that gives you vibe of 7 star hotel. Room was very comfortable, clean and high quality, the bathroom was spacious with a generously-sized tub. The front desk team was not only efficient but also incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to address our inquiries with a genuine interest making us feel like valued guests. To anyone seeking not just a place to stay for a while but an exceptional hospitality experience, I'd strongly suggest reaching out to the Cambria.

We were here for a couple of days. The manager( I think her name is Christa) was excellent. She had the best customer service, was very caring, and did everything to accommodate us. The hotel was very nice, room was spacious and we had breakfast in the restaurant and that was good. I would definitely come back if I return to the area. Thank you for an amazing stay.
