This place is awesome. I played in a member guest yesterday that had 27 4 somes with everyone playing their own ball and finished in a little over 4 hours. Extremely well run. Also, their chef is excellent. Served every table family style and it all came out perfect.

The course was in excellent shape and challenging for an intermediate golfer like me. While my group was being held up by 2 groups in front of us the group behind demanded that they play through. They were club members and very ornery so we let them. Otherwise it was a great day.

Been golfing here since I was a little kid. The course is always in great shape. Even though it lacks the distance of modern day courses, it packs a punch.

Excellent country club , my nephew is a member and used the party room for a birthday.

As a member of the local community, I was recently cross-country skiing alone on North Fork Country Club’s property on a quiet Saturday afternoon when two patrol cars were dispatched to apprehend me. The officers themselves noted that they were responding to multiple calls from the club’s general manager. Two police cars for a single skier — because someone made repeated calls until they got a response. Other well-regarded country clubs in the area, including Southampton and Shinnecock, welcome community members to use their grounds for activities like sledding and cross-country skiing during the off-season. It’s a gesture of goodwill that strengthens the relationship between these clubs and the neighborhoods they’re part of. Rather than tying up local law enforcement resources over a lone skier, I’d encourage North Fork Country Club’s management to take a page from their neighbors and embrace the community rather than police it.
