Update: The Food is really good. Burgers are excellent. Adding photos of the menu, as I did not see anything on the website. Kids and adults had fun. I can’t add any insights in regards to course itself, it looks just fine to me. I am not a pro golfer, but I do come here on occasion with my husband and kids. I believe the course is challenging enough and well-maintained. I personally love the trail that goes around it.

The course itself is a very nice public course, you can get a good meal and golf, the pro shop is small but has a good selection of quality equipment, the course pro is extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics of golf, the equipment, and gives great lessons, the practice areas are always well kept. I want to preface before I give my BUT. The course pro clearly has a great passion for his course and golf and I respect him greatly at how hard he works to maintain the whole operation, often see him doing multiple jobs and flying around like a madman.. I’ve even seen him on lawn equipment once! BUT I’ve had multiple instances now where I’ve been a part of the last group teeing off for the night where the course pro gets visibly angry and will scold golfers for “taking too long” **A group of 4 average skilled golfers takes 2-2.5 hours to complete 9 holes, some sources say 3 hours.** This last instance unfortunately will be the last time I personally golf this course. A friend set up a tee time today (Aug 19) for 5:30 and 4 golfers , we didn’t end up hitting our first shots until 5:40 because there was a player walking ahead of us that we had to wait for. We finished the round at 7:55 it was pouring rain, the carts don’t have the retractable cart covers to shield equipment from rain, we’re soaked our stuff is soaked, normally you can drive the cart right up to your vehicle then clean it out and leave it near the garage door we knew we had to hurry but it would have taken us 3 minutes to load up the truck and return the carts (done it over 100 times). Instead we were greeted by the course pro blocking the path to the parking lot giving us the same signal a third base coach would give to a runner to hurry home. No big deal. He then proceeded to ignore everything we said to him so it became my perception he was in a rush to go home and wanted us to walk back to the car in the rain for taking too long. My friends were unsure if he was actually angry, but when he left the building he slammed the door very hard, speedily walked to his car and slammed his car door shut. …Our round took 2 hours and 15 minutes and we were very respectful to the course… My personal takeaway for this is I’ve golfed there over a hundred times, bought clubs, balls, gloves, hats, shaft fittings… I will not spend another dollar there personally, that’s just not how you’re supposed to represent a business or treat customers as they could have just told us 5:30 was too late the day before when we scheduled the tee time. My recommendation to other golfers, try not to be the last ones out, as this sort of instance has occurred with the pro multiple times with me now and it bums me out because he has been extremely helpful on multiple other occasions.

Beautiful course, you don't feel like you're in upstate NY when you're playing here.

There is no better place for golf in this area than here. The greens fees are inexpensive, especially in light of the quality of the course. The course is varied and challenging, but fair. The greens are in very good condition and require your attention to not get fooled. The pro shop is staffed with people who are courteous, gracious, helpful and pleasant people to do business with. They give the impression that they are happy you came to their course and want to accommodate you. Bring a few extra balls or buy some from the pro shop. They have a good selection of everyday golf items at very reasonable prices.
