We recently had our wedding on 10/12 and just wanted to take a moment to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who played a part in making our wedding day so special. Our wedding coordinator Jessica, was so accommodating and patient with all of my requests throughout the planning process. Her organization and attention to detail made everything feel seamless and stress-free. In addition, her attention to detail in decorating each area of the venue was spectacular. While we couldn’t get married outside, Jessica ensured they would do everything possible to make inside just as beautiful for our ceremony. A special thanks to the chef for working with us on the menu and tweaking dishes to suit our vision. The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. The bridal attendant Jalyssa and maitre d, Jansi were more than I could’ve asked for. Their attentiveness and professionalism on the day of the wedding truly stood out. They made sure everything ran like clockwork, and it allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We went with the package deal wedding and used all of the preferred vendors offered and I’m so glad I did. It made planning so simple and easy. Once we signed the contact, each vendor reached out immediately and made the process effortless for me, which I appreciate more than anything as a full time working mom, I didn’t have a lot of extra time to shop around for vendors. For anyone looking to have a wedding, I highly recommend this venue. You will not be disappointed. I’m already sad it’s over but hoping I have an event that comes up so I can use Essex Club. We are very happy we chose Essex Club and would choose it 100 times over. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, all inclusive, gorgeous venue - look no further!!

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue. We got married at The Essex Club on 11/28/25, and from the planning process to the wedding day itself, everything was absolutely amazing. Every request was listened to, everything was extremely organized, and they made sure both we and our guests were cared for throughout the entire day.Rob, our maître d’, was incredible and kept everything running seamlessly. Liz, my bridal attendant, was the absolute best—constantly checking on me, making sure I was okay, and even braving the cold November weather for my outdoor photos. She truly went above and beyond.Jessica made the planning process completely seamless and stress-free, always responding promptly to emails and making everything feel easy.Our guests are still raving about the FOOD and the hospitality. Everyone had an amazing time, and we truly felt like we were given the wedding of our dreams. We are beyond grateful to the entire Essex Club team and highly recommend this venue.

I cannot say enough good things about the Essex Club (formerly Brentwood Country Club). The Essex club is an extremely affordable option compared to most places on Long Island. Living in Suffolk County, this is one of the few venues around that give off ballroom/ country club vibes. I had a bit of sticker shock when first getting quotes from venues and started to re think the whole having a big wedding thing, and then I came across the Essex Club. They have a great package and they are a Lessing’s venue. Not only was I able to get a great package, but because my wedding was the second week of November, I was able to get winter pricing compared to fall. This allowed me to book a Saturday night wedding without needing an insane minimum. Jessica at Essex club is truly amazing, and makes your day flawless with her attention to detail. I had a minor mishap with a different vendor day of the wedding and Jessica called them herself and had them fix it within 20 minutes, no questions asked. Because they only do one wedding at a time, their main focus is you all day and you are able to come to the venue 2 hours prior to your cocktail hour ( so no need for another place to take pictures). The food was amazing, and we got so many compliments. We had a very intimate wedding of about 100 people and the 10 tables of 10 was honestly the perfect fit. We got so many compliments on our choice of venue. The Essex Club is truly a hidden gem with a staff that makes you feel like part of the family.

4 out of 5 Stars – Beautiful Venue with a Few Bumps Along the Way We recently had our wedding at Essex Club, and overall, the venue truly exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for, and our guests had an amazing time. The food was delicious—although a couple of guests mentioned the Mahi Mahi was a bit dry, everything else was a hit. The team also corrected our layout perfectly after it was initially set up incorrectly the day before, which we really appreciated. That being said, there were a few issues during the planning process that kept us from giving a full 5-star review. While the manager, Jessica, was absolutely wonderful to work with, we did encounter some last-minute surprises. First, we wanted to incorporate our culture into the ceremony by having a close family friend play the steel drum. About a month before the wedding, we were told that due to liability reasons, he would need to have a license in order to perform. This was very upsetting and left us scrambling for an alternative. Around the same time, we were also informed that the backdrop we had purchased couldn’t be used for liability reasons. Thankfully, we were able to get a refund and did find another backdrop option—which actually turned out beautifully—but the last-minute changes added extra stress. We were also notified late in the process about additional taxes related to the cost of desserts. While we understand and respect venue policies, receiving this information so close to the wedding made things more difficult during an already stressful time. All in all, Essex Club is an amazing venue, and we truly did have a beautiful wedding day. I would absolutely recommend it to future couples—but I also strongly suggest asking plenty of questions up front to avoid any misunderstanding or last-minute surprises. Despite the bumps along the way, everything came together beautifully, and our guests had a wonderful time.
