Just leaving a review to upload this picture I took during twilight in the spring. The course is fine, your standard county course. No stand outs, no complaints. They're finally building a real clubhouse which is nice.

I scored a hole in one on hole 14. A 5 wood 193 yards. 1999. I even got a certificate from the course. Very exciting. My first was 1997 at Rockleigh blue hole 5. 5 iron 175 yards. Overpeck was always a good course and in good shape.

Nice layout but not in good condition! Tee boxes are sparse with little or no grass. Greens were just airated but have little sand so the holes are pronounced. Water coolers had no ice and the water was at least 85 degrees. Way over priced for the condition!

The course itself is challenging and long, but the lack of amenities and maintenance is a real letdown. The course should add some amenities. A clubhouse, pro shop, driving range, and food service would make the course more enjoyable for all golfers. The vending machine should be replaced or repaired. It is currently broken, and it is the only source of drinks on the course.

Tee/time 12:40 PM (13 November 2024) Dear Overpeck Golf Course Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident I experienced yesterday on 15 November 2024 (Tee Time:12:40 PM) at your course. After dedicating significant time and effort to learning the game of golf, I was eager to play a full 18-hole round. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unacceptable behavior of another golfer. I was paired with a group of three players. One individual, a Korean male in his late 30s, immediately began hurling insults and threatening remarks towards me after my first drive tee-shot. Despite my attempts to de-escalate the situation by conceding my position on the fairway, his aggression continued. He demanded that I walk or run in front of him. Even though I was playing behind him.Plus, he was using a motorized golf bag. While I was using a pushcart. As of that wasn't enough. He then threatened to have me removed from the course by the rangers. To avoid further conflict, I left the group and played several holes ahead. Thankfully, I was able to complete the remaining holes without further incident. While this experience was undoubtedly unpleasant, I am determined to continue enjoying the game of golf. However, I felt it was important to bring this individual's unacceptable behavior to your attention. I hope that appropriate action will be taken to ensure that all players can enjoy a safe and welcoming environment at Overpeck Golf Course. Thank you for your understanding. Jubba
