Really enjoy the course and is well maintained for a county course but honestly the pace of play is brutal! Past 4 times of playing here haven’t been able to finish the round due to sunsets. If they controlled the pace of play it would be a 5 start for me.

During the golf season, the course is in great shape. This year there have been some disruptions but that is only because they are working to make significant improvements. This is a great course at a great price. The staff is friendly and professional.

For a public county course it is ok, tee boxes are beat up and right now there is underground construction going on throughout the course so some of the fairways are not in the best shape. I am used to playing Mercer County courses which are much better but with an Ocean County resident card you can’t beat $30 for 9 holes with cart at Atlantis.

Course conditions were maybe a 3/10 . Some of the spots were fine some of the spots were horrid . Some of the bunkers looked rough , hard dirt at best and green on 18 was bumpy like the skin of an orange . It's the type of place you can golf in jeans and a tee shirt and nobody bats an eye if that's your thing . Customer service was poor , had an issue with the supposed "free lunch" with purchase of a round but none of the 3 people working the counter could use a little common sense and reason to make things right for the customers. Overall not the type of golf round you look forward to all week .

Would give 0 stars if I could. The staff is absolutely the most arrogant we have ever met. The person mowing mowed over 4 of our balls and shred them to pieces! How awful!!!!! Visiting out of state and less than impressed. Tee boxes are in the worst shape I have ever seen. Ball marks are not repaired on any hole. AND after we teed off 20 minutes ahead of our scheduled time we got followed and stalked by the warden telling us to get going when we were on pace with the group ahead of us. This course isn’t special yet they are acting like they are hiding something here!!!!!
