Excellent conditions on tees, fairways, and greens. Thoroughly unique and challenging layout. We had a cart, but it seems very walkable on days that aren't 92 degrees. The staff at the pro shop was helpful and easy going. The price is a bit steep for a 9-hole course, but I did feel the quality merited a premium and there were no pace of play issues. It would be nice if there was a discount for a second 9.

Nice little 9 hole track in rural NJ on the grounds of a private high school. No tee times - just show up. Only $15 to walk on the weekend, but it's very hilly so if you're not a goat, take a cart. Course was in very good shape. Gave it 4 stars because there are no amenities, if you need something better bring it with you.

I grew up playing on this course. I spent many years at Blair and it's facilities and loved having a local, affordable public option to play golf. Over the years the course layout has changed significantly, and they have raised the course rates to unsustainable levels. $30+ to walk 9 holes is absurd for this course, as sweet as the memories are. Gone are the alumni rates as well. Whomever is currently making these decisions has forgotten why John Blair built this school and this course.
