Someone was detained and didn't open the gates on the morning of July 13th. The owner showed up to open them.... really really nice guy and told us all we had free golf for the inconvenience. It was an amazing day and he is an amazing person to make that sacrifice. I don't know his name but thank you thank you thank you ...what a wonderful thing to do!!! People like that create a loyal respectful following that takes care of the course. Every time we golf there, we golf with people who are fixing other people's ball marks and other people's divots. And if everybody does that the course stays nice!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful gesture of free golf and a chance to see that a good person owns Sagamore 🙂⛳😎. Not to mention that the rest of the crew is wonderful too. They give you a sense of membership even though it's a public course! Thank you to everyone at Sagamore in Greenland.

Sagamore Hampton Golf Club in Northampton NH is the golf course I have golfed at more than any course in my life. Its a nice course and is pretty well kept. The 18-hole course offers a great balance of challenge and enjoyment for golfers of all levels. I appreciated that the course is not overly difficult but still engaging, with some interesting holes and well-kept greens that made putting enjoyable. The fairways were in excellent condition, even after some rainy weather, which shows the care taken in course maintenance. What truly stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to on-course assistance, everyone was welcoming and made me feel valued as a guest. I also liked that the club offers good specials like twilight golf, which provides great value and flexibility. The layout is scenic with a mix of open and tighter, tree-lined holes, giving a nice variety throughout the round. It’s ideal for those who enjoy a relaxing yet stimulating round without the frustration of overly penal conditions. Overall, Sagamore Golf Club is my go-to public course in the area. If you're in New Hampshire and want a well-maintained, fun golf experience with excellent service, I highly recommend it.

I play at Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club often, and it’s easily one of my favorite courses in New Hampshire. The layout has great character and history, the greens are always in solid shape, and the staff is absolutely amazing — friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming every time. For the quality of the course and the experience, the price is more than fair. A classic New England golf experience that keeps me coming back week after week.

Awesome, well kept course. Straight forward and great for beginners. I pretty much learned how to play from scratch on this course. They are flexible with tee times and work with you. The staff here is TOP NOTCH. The front desk attendees are extremely professional, flexible, outgoing, and helpful. The cart girls are active, attentive, and kind. They are good with rain checks too. All around the staff has made my experience and I will always prefer this course over any other due to their staff. Outstanding customer service.

Very nice course. Well maintained. Pretty wide open off the tee but shots into the green often have pretty severe elevation changes. The greens are pretty well kept with a lot of slope. Make sure you stay below the hole. Pretty challenging for all handicaps.
