Description

Eagle Crest is a par-60 executive course in Summerlin that's ideal for honing your short game. Despite its length, elevation changes and sloping greens provide a solid test. It's well-maintained and perfect for a fast-paced round with beautiful city views. Great for beginners, seniors, or anyone short on time.

Booked Eagle Crest GC for my 3rd day of golf in Vegas. Short Executive Par 3/4 course, 18 holes. Greens were descent and fairways were in good condition on the par 4’s. Had a lunch to go (turkey club and fries) at the Summit restaurant adjacent to the pro shop. Delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly. I got paired with locals, 3some. Had a great time. The course surrounds a 55 senior community. Took about 3 hrs for 18 holes. Surrounding mountains and views were amazing. I would give 5 stars, but I paid $95 as a non member/tourist rate.

Edit: Thursday November 6th at 9am (empty course and driving range). After managents last response i decided too see if they are actively monitoring play and enforcing policies; even on a slow day. My findings: at 9:10 am 2 men in a tshirt purchase rental clubs, a round of 18, and was never addressed about their dress code. The course was simply thrilled that money was being exchanged and made no mention or attempt to correct this poor behavior. The starter at tee number 1 greeted the underdressed men and sent them on their way with no mention of dress code or ettiquette. 9:30 am a second group was sent out with another man wearing a soccer jersey instead of an appropriate collard shirt. Again the starter greeted them and said nothing of the poor dress code. The driving range and chipping green have a total of 8 people using the facility at 9:30am; 2 of the 8 had t-shirts on and of course plenty of shag bags deliberately disregarding the posted signage. The fact remains::: the standards of golf arent slipping due to ignorance, lack of awareness, or "not every instance can be addressed immediately". The standards are gone due to management choosing to place profits over policies. To all golfers: lack of policy enforcement has major impacts on the long term sustainability of golf. This leads to slower pace of play, degradation of course conditions, lack of integrity, and ultimately prices that continue to be raised while golfer satisfaction diminishes. *Next time you visit this facility ask the manager why they prefer profits over customer satisfaction. After all the course is the one who created these procedures and policies so why wouldn't they want to enforce them??? Original post: This course is a prime example of a beautiful facility being actively degraded by management inaction. They have clear signs listing a strict dress code and essential etiquette (no shag bags/tubes, minimum of 5 balls, repair divots, etc), yet these rules are entirely unenforced for both members and public players. The consequence is immediate and long-term damage: damaged course conditions (unrepaired divots, pitch marks), painfully slow pace of play, and a chaotic atmosphere with loud music and inappropriate attire (jeans, t-shirts). By allowing this disrespect for their posted rules, management signals they do not value the quality of the playing experience. This failure chases away high-paying, discerning golfers, destroying the club's premium brand and ensuring a long-term decline in membership retention and overall revenue. Management may have a 'strategy' of high fees and strict signs, but the culture of non-enforcement is destroying it. 'Culture eats strategy for breakfast,' and the course is paying the price.

Nice little executive course, mostly walkable, a couple steep grades to climb though. Pace of play was great, because I am pretty sure it was too chilly for most of the regulars. Many ball marks on the greens not repaired. Seems to be a theme at all the Sun City Summerlin courses.

Played here today with my wife. The course was in amazing shape for the winter. Fairways were all green and well maintained. The staff here from check in to all of the course rangers and concessions were amazing. This course hires terrific people and has great customer service. They understand playing golf should be enjoyable. Thanks for a great afternoon.

Beautiful scenery but issues.... 1. Pace of play excruciatingly slow. On an Executive course, you must wait until the group ahead is finished with the hole. No carts on grass on par 3s and slow play make for aggravation. The course uses "reclaimed" water. There are many dry areas, but worse, the whole course reeks of sewer water. There is no bag drop and little signage when you arrive. Nice chipping and putting areas. Driving range is mostly dirt. I would not go back.
