Description

Member-owned and tucked just west of Omaha in Valley, The Pines rolls across level terrain that makes it an enjoyable walk while the greens provide most of the defense. Tree-lined corridors and a handful of ponds nudge you to pick conservative lines off the tee. The club's practice setup driving range, putting and chipping greens, and a practice bunker keeps locals grooved year-round. Despite the gentle topography, the greens have enough movement to reward precise approach play and crisp lag putting. It's a classic private-club test: fair from the tee, demanding around the hole.

They don't get any better then golf pro Donnie! Just a great dude! Course is just as cool as him! Also fyi my son in the picture has course record from tips! 66

Lots of fun to walk 18holes in under 3 1/2 hours. Challenging greens with good company make for a great round of golf. I have a been a member at the Pines for the last two years and have always been treated like a old friend. Probably the best golf value in the Omaha Metro area. Looking forward to the nest round.

I will keep this short and sweet. As a business professional I was disgusted with how I was treated by the staff. Showed up 45 minutes early before our tee time and the people with a tee time in front of us were late, yet we were blamed for “backing them up.” Youth coaches were also rude when I tried to hit a couple balls before our tee time and my group was told to “FINISH UP NOW” because they were starting youth practice (didn’t even get to hit one more ball to “finish up” before we were yelled at again.) All in all there are way better places in Omaha that will treat you well. Don’t go to The Pines unless you want your whole round to be ruined because of the rude staff.

Very well maintained fairways and fast greens. Also, greens are large, slopey, and bumpy. Nice driving range, putting and chipping greens, club house. Overall great experience and value!
