Golfed there today. First the good: Minden Country Club is a really nice 9-hole course. It's well laid out and challenging and it's clear that the groundskeeping crew takes their jobs very seriously. Loved the course. The clubhouse staff was also very nice. Friendly, efficient and professional. Major problem: The fees are absolutely ridiculous for a small town, 9-hole course, even on a weekend. We paid $72.50 each for 18 holes with cart. That's insane compared to similar courses. To help understand the extent of how overpriced this is, WIld Horse in Gothenburg, considered one of the top 100 public golf courses in the entire country, is $80 for 18 holes, with cart, Friday through Sunday. It's also a full 18 hole course, not 9 holes. Finally, the pace of play on the course is not managed at all - we waited a long time on every tee while fivesomes and even one group of six goofed around even as other groups stacked up behind them. The MCC course itself is nice but we won't be returning any time soon with what are such profoundly unreasonable prices to play an unmanaged course.

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were dry and fast. Down side was the price of weekend play is pretty outrageous. Double the weekly rate if you want to golf 9 holes with cart it is $60. It’s not a $60 golf course.

Great course, especially for the money. Narrow, with a lot of trees and smaller greens. Good long iron game is helpful. There are nicer courses around the central Nebraska area but it’s fun to play every once and awhile.

Very friendly staff and overall a very well kept course. Strongly considering being a member this next year when compared prices to my home town. 5 stars for this course becuase of how well they keep there greens and friendliness.

The course is in fantastic shape. The service is what you want. Golf here if you want to golf.
