Description

Wilderness Club in Eureka is Montana's #1 ranked course for a reason designed by Sir Nick Faldo, it features dramatic vistas, pristine fairways, and top-tier conditions from start to finish. The layout winds through forests, meadows, and water features with precision and beauty. Every hole feels like a signature hole. Worth the trip no matter where you're coming from.

We booked a two day/2 night stay and play package for Golf. The location and views are amazing. The course is a little difficult with more sand bunkers than I’ve ever seen on one course and in the middle of the bunkers are low growing sticky green bushes that eat your balls and you’ll never be able to find them. Somehow, on our second day, they had triple booked our tee time. The rooms were very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. It appeared clean, but I had spilled some water on the floor. Went to wipe it up with a towel and the floor was absolutely filthy dirty. On Saturday afternoon we tried to have dinner at 5:30 at night and we’re told that we would have to order off the lunch menu as dinner did not start until 6 PM. We hadn’t eaten since breakfast as we had played golf and we’re starving so couldn’t wait. That was very disappointing. You couldn’t get dinner at 5:30 at night when this was the only place around for miles to eat at. As far as beverage service on the course, there is a beverage shack at the turn, which is generously stocked. There’s also a beverage cart, but they charge an additional 20% fee on top of your order just to order off a beverage cart. Additionally, when we got our final bill, there was a $50 per day resort fee that we were unaware of and quite frankly have no idea what part of the resort we used to be charged that kind of money we paid for our golfing.

We just got back from a trip. Played multiple rounds. I was actually shocked at the condition of the course. It was incredible!! Not quite sure how they got the course in such good condition but they did!! The course was legitimately one of the best that I’ve ever played, and I’m fortunate to have played numerous top 100 courses. The setting and view are incredible. The course is very interesting and has a challenging but fair layout. We found the staff to be polite and professional, and eager to help out. I know the course has new ownership and it sounds like that has really helped any previous issues. You always get a mixed bag of reviews, but as for myself, I would highly recommend a trip to the Wilderness Club!

Played Golf with a buddy. Tried to have my club call for possibly getting a reciprocal but they couldn't even respond. Price was high and definitely not worth it. Staff was very stuffy and couldn't back it up. Tried to get a breakfast burrito after arriving but was told only the Buffet was available for $28 so instead got a premade sandwich and drink that was $33 Wanted to buy a hat but that was $69 for a baseball hat. Save your money and don't waste your time on this one!!!

DO play the golf course. DO NOT stay at the hotel resort. The rooms are basic and OK, but definitely not worth the price. And the service is also OK, but not to the level of what they charge. We were really looking forward to a luxury experience, which it was definitely not. There are many other places to stay in the area, and just drive to the course.

The golf course is definitely top 5 in Montana. It has so many fun holes and there is no spot on the course that isn't incredible. It is a course you definitely want to play. Dave was very helpful and fun. We were running late due to the slow traffic from Whitefish. He helped move our tee time and allow us to hit balls/warm up.
