Big Sky, Montana absolutely delivered. The hotel was incredibly luxurious, and the large kitchen was a huge bonus—we cooked most of our meals, which helped offset how expensive food and drinks were at the resort. That said, heading out to places like Madison Landing made grabbing a drink much more reasonable. The skiing was fantastic. We had easy access to multiple lifts right from the hotel and plenty of great runs. Traveling with younger skiers worked out perfectly too—the bunny hill was right in front of the hotel, making it easy and stress-free for them. The staff was outstanding from top to bottom. Ski valet (Ski Ballet) was a game changer—checking skis in and out instead of hauling them to the room was incredibly convenient. The bell staff and doormen were amazing, dressed like Montana cowboys, which my son and I absolutely loved. We had five in our group, plus another group of four adults and three kids under three staying in the village. Everything worked out beautifully—there was truly something for everyone, and no one felt left out. The only things we didn’t get to do were the spa and the pool—not because they weren’t appealing, but because we were having too much fun skiing and exploring. The indoor/outdoor heated pool looked incredible… we just ran out of time. Beautiful conditions, great people, amazing skiing—highly recommended. ⛷️🏔️

Highlight of the trip - did Big Couloir with the ski patroller Nick Oldham because I didn't have a partner, who took amazing pictures and videos, was a welcoming host. Absolutely made my trip to Big Sky! Great lift infra, great food (coffee at base was great, protein bowl rocks), conditions were great despite no new snow. Beautiful views. Easy parking. Nick took this photo of me at the top (the videos and other pictures were even better!) - what a cool experience!

Located close enough to the Bozeman airport, world class skiing with amazing lift infrastructure. One of my favorite mountains I’ve ever skied at. Slightly less challenging than Jackson Hole but similar in terrain. I rank it up there with my personal favorites which include JH, Whistler and Telluride.

One of my new favorite ski resorts. Great run variety, lift lines were very snappy. Things can get a bit pricey but there are still some cheaper food options which is nice.

Snowboarded for Christmas, excellent heated lifts with shields so you won't get beat up by the elements during your trip. Runs are pretty good, we went early in the season so everything was still icy but very well groomed.
