My husband and I could not have made a better choice than Whitmoor to get married at! The venue itself is beautiful, but what sets this venue apart is the incredible staff, specifically Carley. Carley was a dream to work with; so kind, organized, attentive to detail. She was so incredible in helping to make sure my husband and I’s wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more!

Claire and her team at Whitmoor were absolutely incredible. Throughout the entire planning process, she was a wonderful sounding board and always had thoughtful ideas to help us create the best flow for the space. The venue itself is stunning—overlooking the golf course with a beautiful veranda that gives guests plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. We were even offered two golf carts for photos, which was such a fun and unique option. On our wedding day, the weather took a turn and it poured, but Claire and her team didn’t hesitate for a second. They immediately pivoted with backup photo locations and brought out towels to keep the dance floor dry. Their quick thinking and calm energy were truly amazing. We used both getting-ready spaces—the bridal suite and the groom’s room with the golf simulator—and they made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Although we held our ceremony at a church, when we returned to Whitmoor the reception room looked absolutely stunning. We received countless compliments from our guests about the décor, the staff, and the food. We chose passed appetizers and a buffet, and Claire’s team went above and beyond by preparing a separate plate for us, knowing the bride and groom rarely get a chance to enjoy the food. As a bride in a large ball gown (my mom’s!), I was worried about keeping it clean, especially when my husband went for a full cake smash—but the team was right there with a wet cloth to help. They even had someone hold my plate at the buffet so I wouldn’t risk getting my dress dirty. Claire and her entire staff truly thought of everything. They were attentive, kind, and incredibly professional. I cannot recommend them enough. Despite the rain, it turned out to be the most perfect day. So thankful we choose Whitmoor for our venue.

Her kindness, organization, and attention to every detail helped bring our vision to life and made the day feel effortless. Choosing this venue was easily one of the best decisions we made. It was the perfect setting for our celebration, and we’re so grateful for everyone who helped make it so special.

I visited this beautiful place to attend my nephews wedding. Excellent place to say I do. The staff was very nice and the adult beverages were top tier. My lemon drop drink. Yummy! The food was good. The only complaint was the desserts was not to my liking. Since the groom was vegan this was probably the case. Other than that this short trip from the Windy City was worth it. 🥳

This past Saturday, March 23, 2024, I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. They had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. Carley, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing! I have been a bridesmaid in 12 weddings, 3 times Maid of Honor, and I myself have planned my own wedding. I have also been a wedding coordinator many times for friends and friends of friends. I know how much goes into making a wedding and a wedding day run smoothly and my goodness Carley has it! She was professional! She was helpful! She was friendly! She was attentive! She was smart! She was everything every bride and family of a bride and groom would want for a wedding day. I was very impressed and super thankful she was there. Thank you for a calm and wonderful wedding day!
