Tarkio Golf Club delivers a classic Midwestern loop that grows on you with each visit. The fairways provide room to operate, but preferred angles make placement matter. Greens are readable at first glance, then reveal quiet tiers and runoffs that sharpen your focus. A few holes flirt with water or native rough to raise the stakes. The walk is pleasant and the pace typically unhurried. It's everyday golf done right—reliable, honest, and enjoyable.

Played the course on June 14 which was in great condition. Course was not busy for being a day full of sunshine and temps in the mid 80s. Lady in the clubhouse even split the cart fees between myself and brother who were playing in the 2some. Nothing over double bogey and even had two legit pars on 4 and 9 and this from someone who is just getting back into golf. I will definitely play at this hidden gem again.

Stopped here off a great review from another patron and they were right! A hidden gem, worth hopping off I29 for and we met the sweetest gal who helped set us up for a great day of golf. Highly recommend!

This is one of tbe most pleasant surprises I have stumbled on to in my many years of golfing. Tarkio, Missouri, a small town on the Missouri Iowa border has a great 9 hole golf course that is open for the public to enjoy at a very affordable rate. Lots of hill and trees with great grooming make it a treat. Don't pass it up if you are in the area. 5 stars if it was 18 holes.
