Description

A Tom Fazio public gem in St. Charles County, Missouri Bluffs moves through ridges and valleys with a classic Fazio sense of scale. Tee shots feel generous, but the second-shot demands—and green surrounds—separate scores quickly. It's a picturesque walk or ride with views that change dramatically hole-to-hole. Practice is a highlight thanks to an upgraded, lighted range (‚ÄòTop Range') and quality short-game space. It's widely considered one of Missouri's top public courses.

Great course, beautiful layout - fun, but still challenging. The course was in great shape overall, but some tee boxes hadn't been cut in a long time, and it was quite muddy despite dry weather. Clubhouse is closed for renovations currently.

Great course! Don’t let the reviews fool you. Fun yet challenging layout. Course is in perfect condition right now. Book an early tee time if you’re in a rush. Will be back!

Missouri Bluffs Golf Club is fantastic! Beautiful sunny day, lots of people enjoying the game. The pro shop staff were very friendly, and the starter was polite, letting us tee off early. The course looked gorgeous, and we had a wonderful time. I made a YouTube video to share our experience with friends. Highly recommend playing here!

Very disappointed. I booked online a week in advance, but when we arrived, the cost was 50% higher than the listed price. The employee said he had changed the price because it was “Columbus Day,” with no notice or warning — just “it is what it is.” They’ve also implemented a new pace-of-play system: green means on time, red means slightly behind, yellow means speed up, and magenta means “you’re in trouble.” We were delayed at the start by the marshal, and even with that delay, after just six holes we were marked as red for being only two minutes behind. The marshal told us we were “magenta and extremely behind,” even though we stayed on pace about 4 hours and 25 minutes the whole gameplay — which is a perfectly reasonable pace for four 20-handicap players. Throughout the day, the staff were rude and unhelpful, making the experience unenjoyable. The new ownership feels very corporate — focused on squeezing every dollar rather than providing a great golf experience. There are plenty of other courses in the area that are better maintained and have much friendlier staff.

I was one of the first people to sign up for their PLP program. I dropped it after 3 months for the following: 1. Range times open times are always a challenge. They close 2-3 hours early without reason or notification. 2. Was promised to be emailed of weekly clinics and etc. never got the email.. think the guy who works the desk is Paul? When I ask him about it - he throws attitude.. huffs and puffs… and says it’s updated. Can’t be because I never got an email. Ever! 3. Some of the front desk people will give you a small discount when you book a normal tee time for being PLP. Some will not and roll their eyes. 4. Most of the people who work the club house give off energy they don’t want to work there. Everyone seems annoyed. When calls come in, they pick up and say “Bluffs. Please hold” and continue their personal conversations amongst themselves while I’m waiting in line too. 5. Once at Wentzville, twice at Dardenne and once at bluffs - completely lost my tee time reservation for PLP afternoon deal. I don’t think I’ve ever had a seamless experience being a PLP. Hence why I stopped it. When I ask for a disconnection form, he slammed it in front of me and didn’t even ask why I was discounting. I asked if he was a supervisor and he nodded yes and played on his phone. Damn shame because my entire golf group signed up for this and they all have similar experience. They are leaving the program as well.
