Description

A Robert Trent Jones II design with big movement and bold bunkering, Tiffany Greens delivers a tournament-ready daily-fee experience near KCI. Wide corridors invite driver, but smart players work angles to unlock accessible pin positions. The finishing stretch uses water and contour to raise the pulse, especially in the afternoon breeze. Practice facilities and event spaces make it a regional favorite for outings and leagues.

Course is very player friendly with mostly open fairways. Biggest downside for this course is that there isn't the traditional clubhouse break at the turn. So, if you're used to getting a dog or filling up your cooler after 9, you're out of luck.

Had an amazing experience today at Tiffany. Steve, Dakota and Landon provided amazing customer service. I bought new grips from them and they offered to put them on for free. The golf course can do with some improvements on the tee boxes but I know they are trying.

Played in a tournament on 5/8/24 and this place is going downhill rapidly. I can't believe how far it's fallen with the golf boom and the rates they're charging. It's pretty clear the hotel company that owns the course is taking the profits for other things in their portfolio. I wouldn't pay $40 to play here for the condition it was in today. Rough was extremely long and uneven. Some of it was mowed, some of it wasn't. Even the rough that looked mowed was probably 4" still. The rough that wasn't was 5-6" in spots. The greens were covered in ball marks. The sand trap "renovation" they attempted 5 or 6 years ago is still atrocious. Made for an awful day. It's highway robbery that they're charging people $75 to play there. Never again for me unless they drastically improve their operation.

It's a shame I feel compelled to write this review but ownership needs to hear from the people who care about this place. I have been a member here for close to 20 years and in that time have seen this course just continually fall off a cliff. A competent owner is what this course needs. This course used to have the best member games every weekend and over the last 5 years members have made the right decision to leave and go elsewhere. I will be doing the same after this year is over. Ownership It's clear that ownership doesn't prioritize the membership or the public who play here. Their focus seems to be draining every dollar from this course rather than making the necessary improvements to bring it up to par, let alone average. Sell the course to someone who cares. Staff The staff here is great. You won’t find a more laid back and accommodating group of employees. They’re all overworked and underpaid. You can tell they have little control over what is happening with the course and would like to see it get better as well. This is the only bright spot you will find here. Greens Greens are by far the most important aspect of any course and these greens are a 1/10. They’re embarrassingly awful and have been that way for years. Every spring/fall we get 1-2 weeks where mother nature does the work and they are decent. Outside of that, these are the worst greens in the city. I play tons of public and private courses every year and these are consistently the worst. Tee Boxes The Gold and Blue tees are a patchwork of weeds and dirt. Grounds crew replaced a few tee boxes but don’t expect them to do much more. Don't hold your breath on these getting better. Fairways Some fairways are decent while others are dead and filled with weeds. The worst part is that when fairways are “fixed” they just plant blue grass instead of zoysia. If you look around the greens on a lot of holes, there is a ring of blue grass that dies out during the summer. You won’t find another course in the city with more grass variations than here. Practice facility What was once the best practice facility in the Northland and rivaled one of the best in the city, is now completely destroyed. The chipping green is dead. Someone ran over the back putting green and the grounds crew basically did nothing for 6 months to fix it. The front putting green has bumpers because they can’t be bothered to cut a few holes in it. There used to be three tiers of beautiful zoysia tees and now there is no zoysia left and you hit off mats year-round. The mats which were nice when they were first purchased are abused at this point. It’s a real shame because I love practicing here. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste money on a course that isn’t worth the money.

I would give this "golf course" zero stars if I could. I've played here on and off over the past 20 years but gave up about 4-5 years ago as the course conditions were terrible. We jokingly call it Tiffany Browns. Yesterday couldn't get on at a "real" golf course, so took a flier and said let's see if things have improved. I could repeat the same thing all the other negative reviews have said, exposed drains and poor maintenance in bunkers, unkept greens, rough that has not been mowed for weeks, dandelions and clover covering the fairways, and plain ole' dirt if you miss the fairways. This course is ripping people off charging them $80 for a $25 experience. I've played my last round ever here and will never return. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to play that actually takes the money you pay to play and puts a portion of it back into the golf course, you know almost like a successful business would do. Shame on whoever Owns and runs Tiffany Greens!
