I have played many small town/country courses and this is hands down the best. The greens and fairways look amazing, and they have this 9 hole set up to play 18 if you like. I walked 9 and really enjoyed playing this course. If you are staying in Hermann definatly hit this course or it is worth a little road trip from neighboring counties.

The worst golf course I have played on. They didn’t let us use the greens, so there was just a hole in the fairway with no discount. It smelled bad around the whole course and could hit a good shot and not find the ball with all the leaves. Not going back. Good carts though.

One of the worst golf courses in the entire Midwest. Greens we absolutely horrible. No grass on them all dead and full of algi. They painted them green so they look natural. Tee boxes were just as bad. Paid 30 bucks for 9 holes and got ripped off. Don't play here if you like golf. What a joke. I won't even get into the range balls that most didn't even have dimples. For 3 bucks u get a small bad of the worst golf balls ever. Save your money and dont waste it here.

Look, the course is fun. It's usually in nice shape but the members are not courteous. They don't call ahead and make tee times. I made a tee time for 9:30am. I called the day before, there was supposed to be like a 3 hour window with no one playing. I get to the course and at that point the lady in the clubhouse again said that there's a huge window with no one playing. Well I warm up and while I'm warming up all the senior citizen club members come in mass formation. There's like 5 of them on the first tee at my tee time with even more getting their carts out of the barn. I asked them when they're supposed to tee off and they tell me they're members so they don't have to call or make a tee time. So I let them play cause they're already on the senior tees. And some of them had already hit. Their pace was fine, but the fact they can just show up and play whenever they want without telling the club house kind of got under my skin. Then every green had their fresh pitch marks left behind. Guess they're too old to bend over to fix them? There's no common courtesy with their members. They show up whenever they want, play whenever they want and don't fix the damage they make to the greens. This has happened to me twice in the past month. The first time I just said whatever. But today it really drove me crazy. Even Owensville's Muni has more organization than this place. The course is fun though. Just a bummer to show up thinking the course is wide open and then have a bunch of members show up unannounced and play your tee time. I've never experienced that at any other course.

Don't play here. No golf etiquette. Been behind a six-some, not letting me play through. This is horrible the lack of respect for others. Yea, I probably will keep playing here because of how close it is but I don't have to leave a good review. They've been allowing 5 to six somes play here for years, done standing by and watching this continue.
