Description

A classic North County municipal track rolling over tree-lined terrain, Florissant offers strong par-4s and elevated tee shots that frame the Zoysia fairways beautifully. The green complexes are the star—fast, subtly contoured bentgrass that can get slick when the wind picks up. Continuous cart paths and a large clubhouse patio make it popular for outings. Originally opened as Paddock Country Club in 1964, the course has hosted top local players for decades.

Played Florissant GC on my birthday morning after a long break. Had a great time, and the pro shop staff were very friendly. Enjoyed it so much, I'll be back soon!

Fairways hard as concrete and tee boxes that you need a drill to be able to set your tee. Save your money and go somewhere else. Staff was great. 3/4 holes have tee boxes closed and you have to tee in the fairway. 70% of tee shots are blind shots. Boring all around.

Very playable course, greens in good shape, some Fairways a little bit iffy overall not a bad track, lots of uphill shots to some greens and lots of downhill shots to some greens.

florissant is fun and cheap. its not the best course ever but the layout is very unique. greens feel nice to putt on but the fairways and tee boxes can be a bit of a miss. the par 3s really are some of the more enjoyable par 3s that exist in stl.
