beautiful course, I was very impressed with the layout and how well kept it was. after being invited I got the chance to play the course alone and really take in all of the details, quite the delight. head pro was also very welcoming and gave some great insight. probably the best course i’ve ever played in the state

Played this week. Great golf course, well designed and prepared. I am not a person who gets too wrapped up in "who" designed the course because I have experienced both poor and great. This course is well designed and fair. Well planned landing spots off the tee and the course has few "blind" shots where you need local knowledge to navigate (I did buy the $10 yardage book which I recommend). That said, you need to execute your shots and the course has defenses to an errant shot. It will punish you if you try to get too much from your skill level. I am a 14 handicap and broke 100 thanks to a few very poorly played holes and mostly due to golf course management, that's on me. I believe I could have shot my handicap here and would relish an opportunity for a re-try. The greens were my favorite. They weren't fast the day I played (which I expected) but their nuance is PGA level, you better take your read 4 ways or you will be sorry. I loved it and was rewarded with multiple 10+ ft puts because I took the time and effort. Just an exceptional round and place to play golf for those who love the game. Final thought, staff is exceptional and all you could ever ask for, well done Boone Valley, well done!

Giving this place 5 stars is an understatement. Hands down #1 course in the midwest. Bold statement I know, but when you've played many pristine courses around the US and still find yourself coming back to this one each time only to be WOW'ed as if its your first time playing it....theres something special about this place. Good luck getting on, membership is invite only but if you ever get the chance, don't hesitate.

Boone Valley Golf Course is a very magnificent beautiful gorgeous place that you can ever go but it's private on so you got to have bucks to go into this place you would really enjoy Boone Valley Golf Course amen
