Description

Wedgewood is a north Mississippi favorite for its clean presentation and classic Cupp shaping. The front nine invites you to attack with scoring irons, while the back nine tightens with ponds and risk reward doglegs. Greens are quick but fair, with contours that reward leaving approaches below the hole. A full range and practice green make it a convenient tune up spot for Memphis area players. It tops out at 6,771 yards and is rated 72.5/131.

Wedgewood in my opinion best public course in Desoto County. Course itself is the part I’m talking about not the pro shop and other etc. Grass is kept well and the green are just about always rolling pure. Played High School & Junior College at Wedgewood, have some great memories out there. John Wells (Head Pro) super nice

Course is nice enough and challenging to justify the price. Pace of play is not enforced and they book tee times 8 minutes apart.. many times have played here and it takes 2.5 hours to play 9 holes due to the mismanagement.

I enjoy playing this course and the staff is super friendly. This course was more challenging for me but it fun! Very pretty landscape as well. This was my second time playing here and it won’t be my last!

The staff were amazing! Every hole was challenging and fun, especially on par 5s. The greens rolled true and fast.

Very disappointed about the property as a whole. Too high rough for a local course. Not kept up since becoming open to the public. Could have been a very nice country club once upon a time ago.
