Description

Prestwick delivers a modern parkland experience built around angles, elevation, and intelligent bunkering. Many holes give you options off the tee—play safely to wider ground or challenge hazards to gain a better approach. Greens feature interior contours that make short-sided misses pay a price, emphasizing smart misses and confident putting. The routing flows naturally, with par 3s that vary in length and demand. It’s a polished, tournament-ready test that still welcomes everyday play.

I had the chance to play Prestwick for the first time this week, and I can honestly say I fell in love with this course. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how beautifully maintained everything was. The fairways were in excellent condition, the greens rolled true, and the overall layout showed the kind of care and attention that makes a round of golf feel really special. Each of the 18 holes offered its own unique challenge. The smaller greens, combined with the slopes and subtle breaks, demanded accuracy and kept me engaged the entire round. It’s definitely a course where strategy matters, not just distance, which made it both fun and humbling. We went on a Thursday afternoon, and one of the things I really appreciated was how quiet it was. There weren’t many people out, so the pace of play was relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, the rates were very reasonable—some of the best I’ve seen in the area—especially for the quality of the course. The staff in the pro shop were also incredibly welcoming and helpful, which added to the overall experience. It felt like the kind of place that values golfers and takes pride in offering a memorable round. In short, Prestwick is a hidden gem. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking for a challenge or just someone who enjoys a beautiful course at a fair price, this place deserves a spot on your list. I can’t wait to come back and play it again.

It has been years since I last played Prestwick. Just as I remembered - nice greens, the course is in great shape and Prestwick has some fun holes. Everything a golfer wants. Highly recommend.

Prestwick is thoroughly enjoyable. Lifted tee boxes are a majority of holes. Short to medium length. No blind shots. Score-able course.

Late Summer round here at Prestwick was worth the value in golf. For $85 dollars per 18, the golf course was in great shape. With a 7:57 tee time, an army of mowers were out in full force making the place look great! As impressive as the course was, I was a quite disappointed in the service received here at Prestwick. No refreshment cooler or snack provided in the pro-shop. When asked if there was anywhere to get something to eat/drink, response was “No, sorry, bar and grill doesn’t open until 10, beverage cart will be out shortly.” Beverage cart wasn’t seen until 2 hours later and drove right past us. At the clubhouse “At the turn,” very limited options for food. No burgers, hot dogs, wraps, etc. (none prepped). Settled for a sandwich which ended being a ham sandwich on a hamburger bun. For almost $100/round, I figured in the midst of/settled between million dollar homes, our group would’ve been given a little better service.

TLDR poor value Golfed here in July 2025. Paid full price $100+ for riding with a cart. Almost all of the tee boxes were being aerated therefore covered in plugs or sand depending on the stage. None of the markers were on the tee boxes therefore no guidance as to exactly where to tee off. They have geriatric golf leagues in the midweek mornings therefore play ends up being slow (leagues should realistically be evenings). Sorry, but it shouldn't take over 4 hours to golf 18 holes on a midweek morning especially when tee times are 9 minutes apart. No ranger to maintain pace and the general clientele of this course are older individuals who will do everything but let you play through. Such a joke. Will not be back here. Go to Eagle Valley.
