Description

StoneRidge leans into a windswept, open feel where contour and breeze dictate strategy more than trees. Fairway humps, closely mown surrounds, and artful bunkers create options on every shot—from running approaches to soft, high irons. The course rewards creativity: low bullets, flighted wedges, and imaginative recoveries shine. Green complexes are firm-but-fair, emphasizing landing spots and pace control. It’s a thinking player’s course that feels different with every change in wind.

Amazing course, Amazing views a fair. But challenging course. Highly recommend trying to play this course. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

The course itself gets 5 stars. Beautiful and well-maintained. Challenging! I would argue it's a bit overpriced though considering the service is average. The bucket of range balls is pretty small which I guess is fine. One of the times I played, the range was mats only. Not really an issue for me except they didn't have tees and I couldn't get a tee into it. Not being able to drive at a range before a round is disappointing. My biggest issue is the pace of play. I played on a Saturday afternoon and the front 9 was good. Waited a little bit but expected for a nice weekend afternoon. Then comes the back 9. I waited 20 minutes to tee off on 11. I was walking so I literally sat on the grass to the side of the cart path until I could tee off. Each hole after that had a 5-10 minute wait. For a course this expensive and with this much pride, they really need to manage pace of play better. The second time I played it was better but still slow on the back 9.

Really enjoyable course and experience! One of the best public courses I’ve had the chance to play in the Twin Cities. Each hole has its own challenges, course plays longer with incredible greens. Do yourself a favor and get out for a round!

First off I must say this is probably the hardest course I've played in Minnesota, but if your a true golf enthusiast this is a must play. Immediately when you turn down the drive you see how perfectly sculpted it is into this confined space. This course is a true links style front 9, and a more dramatically elevated back 9. Fair warning, you may not want to play on a windy day, as the wind comes into play on almost every hole. You will have tough lies, even in the fairways, and near impossible lies off the fairways. There are bunkers and fescue grass everywhere you look on every hole, theres no escaping it. Extreme slope around all the very fast rolling greens that will truly effect your game. You start off with an easy down hill par 4 and ironically after that it's all down hill. The course is beautiful from every way you look at it with many holes running along side each other but never interfering. I would mostly reccomend this course to very experienced golfers or you may have quite a tough day. This course has a very private feel with super nice GPS carts and large pines on hills blocking you from the outside world. I would rank this course in the top 5 in Minnesota for sure and will definitely be back.

Beautiful Golf Course. I didn't really go there to golf. My family had asked me to taste test some food for my brother's upcoming wedding. Presentation was amazing, food tastes great! Very friendly staff! I'll have to actually come here again when I score a date. 😂 I'll be back! 😎
