Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Pines at Grand View Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of — friendly and professional. The entire facility is top-notch, with everything perfectly maintained and presented. We played during peak fall colors, and the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking. But what really stood out were the course conditions. The fairways were pristine, and the greens were in absolutely amazing shape — smooth, pure, and lightning fast. Every putt rolled perfectly true, making for an unforgettable round. If you’re anywhere near the Brainerd Lakes area, do yourself a favor and play The Pines. It’s Minnesota golf at its finest.

The tale of two rounds. Day one, I played solo in the pouring rain on the woods and marsh courses. It was so fun. Even in the rain, the course was beautiful, and being out there alone with my music playing in the cart was quite peaceful. Day two, I played the same courses with a friend and an amazing local couple. The weather was perfect and the course was gorgeous. Every member of the staff was genuinely nice, including my friend at the pro shop who made a rainy day one I will always remember. I highly recommend any golfer who appreciates Minnesota golf at its finest to play The Pines at least once... even if it's raining.

Was just on an 8 person golf trip. We played Deacons, Pines, Preserve and Lehman. The Pines (Lake/Woods) was our favorite of the 4 courses we played. Lehman was next in order. Great, and unique layout to the courses, greens were in great shape and challenging golf. Staff in Pro Shop extremely friendly and helpful with a small situation we had to deal with (finding a lost iPhone). Thanks Again!

Got to place Marsh to Lakes courses and it was a blast. Awesome staff, amazing course, I would high recommend playing The Pines GC. Adam & his crew do a phenomenal job!

Overall we had a good golfing experience. The pace of play was good and service was excellent. The course itself needs some modernizing especially on the Marsh side. Seems gimmicky on a few holes with penalty for being in the fairway ect. This really gets annoying when playing a course for the first time.
