Description

Double Eagle is a distinctive 9-hole facility known for its rare reverse-direction setup - play alternates direction on different days - creating two different experiences on the same ground. Designed by Minnesota native and former PGA Tour player Joel Goldstrand, it opened in 1983. The course features generous fairways punctuated by ponds and clusters of mature trees, with green sites that favor thoughtful angles. From the back tees it measures 3,556 yards for a par of 36 (nine holes). A practice range and a friendly grille make it a convenient stop for locals and lake-country visitors alike.

Had supper tonight at Double Eagle Golf Club. Did the buffet. Great food, everything was delicious and the staff was great. 1st time we've been, but will definitely go again.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very laid back. I had the fish basket which was nicely done. Not at all greasy for fried fish. Great selection of items on the menu, for most diet preferences. Two large tvs for sports watching and large accommodating tables. Waitress was friendly and prompt. Will visit again!

Marie and I stop here to kick back and have a burger basket on the deck. One of our favorites. Fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere, nicest people ever. These owners do a great job and it shows. Thank you.
