Beautifully manicured and extremely lush course with lots of thoughtful touches around the holes. I was here on vacation from Scotland and despite the fact that I will only be visiting Michigan perhaps a few weeks per year I took advantage of the 10 round punch card that is valid here and also Benona Shires as not only are they excellent courses but the price is outstanding value. Beware though of the fast greens and if you are a mid handicapper like me you may just rack up a few high scores given the difficulty of the greens. Only slight criticism I would have is that I found the sand in the bunkers a bit course and one was a bit solid underneath. There is a well stocked shop selling club orientated merchandise as well as the essentials.

Oceana is the best course around! Rolling hills with beautiful scenery. The upkeep on this course is immaculate. Have played here a few times but today was something else. With a hazy sunset & gorgeous overlooking views of the green have made this course a must play! Highly recommend to anyone looking to see what west michigan golf is all about!!

Beautiful and very enjoyable course. Since it was the first time here for our group, we took some wrong turns where there weren't signs, but found our way. Of the 4 courses we played over the weekend, this was a unanimous "would play again"!

This is an absolutely beautiful golf course, with accommodating, friendly staff at a great value. Very fun to play with plenty of challenge while still being approachable for all skill levels. This place is a real gem, and in my opinion, one of the best courses in the area.

This course punches above its weight. Since 1962 it’s been known for the best greens in the area, small, fast, and true, you’ll finish the round feeling your short game got schooled. Its recent rescue feels inspiring: local investors saved it from closure, added new holes like a downhill par‑3 and a dogleg, upgraded irrigation and carts, and even built a future driving range and youth golf area. Bottom line? You get a well‑kept, improved course with fast greens, smart improvements, and prices that won’t break the bank. If you’re anywhere near Shelby and want to sharpen your game, this should be on your radar.
