This was a decent fun little course. Some of the holes are a little crammed together along the fairways. There are bunkers, placed mostly in the most defensive of spots. The route isn’t the more intuitive but we eventually found our way along. Then some holes are truly something special. Hole 1 has a neat little “bowl” off the first tee. Not a worry if you nail your tee shot. #2 is a fun par 3 with a few kidney bunkers around the green. #3 and 4 are pretty run of the mill slightly bent holes. #5 has the hilliest fairway me and the boys have ever rolled across. One guy hated it another one thought it was a blast. I didn’t really see Hole 6 becuase I sliced it into the bowl on hole 1 and couldn’t get it right enough on the recovery shot to really get a vibe in this hole. That’s on me though. #7 had a cool drop off after the length of the fairway, definitely fun going on that almost blind shot. Hole #8 is a cool uphill par 3 with a small creek right in front of the tee boxes. Holes 9 crosses the Paddy’s Creek again but the tee boxes is higher up than the fairway and forces the pressure of shooting out a window of trees and try and cross a dip. The first third and the last third of holes I really liked but the middle third dragged a bit. Definitely worth a play if you are around. It’s a decently little local style course

The staff is absolutely the best!!! The course is in the best shape I've seen it since I started playing it in 2007.

Great local 9 hole course. Super nice people, friendly, and in decent shape. The locals all park their personal carts with clubs on in the barn. Drive them into town after golf for dinner. 8th hole is demonic but interesting. Better shape than expected. If you arrive before they open just put cash in the mail slot.

I love these olde time golf courses, and Ontonagon did not disappoint.
