I was here last summer and it's a wildy underrated course. Premium carts and well maintained course. Its sneaky tough with a lot of skinny fairways. No room for misses. Great staff. Club house is, well, not modern...but its mid michigan and a hell of a course for the cost. Won't host a US Open but a great 18 for you and your friends.

3.8 star Google rating matches the service received from the staff at this course this summer. I’ve only played here twice this season based upon a negative experience in May, paired with the feedback from friends and colleagues who have reported verbal altercations with course staff on more than one occasion; complaints originating from separate groups. This course once held a special place in our hearts due to a late family member who played here his whole life. Let me say it again. Was one of the best courses around for ease of getting on the tees and especially with the new carts and other improvements over the last few seasons. That’s up until yesterday. I drove across the county to play here last night with family and can promise I won’t return to try again until next season because I will not pay $70 for two w/ a cart and two drinks to be treated poorly. We carefully vote with our dollars in this town. What a shame! Not sure if it’s the uptick in business or league jocks pushing the service quality down or what but in my 22 years playing golf, I’ve never been disappointed with the play or service here. Now that golf is even more of a fad, with growing popularity, I’m seeing more and more courses that I’ve been playing since I was 14 years old start to treat their seasoned golfers like we’re causing problems coming to play nine holes on a Wednesday evening at 5:30 - after the leagues have gotten their prized attention.

Yeah the 1 star reviews are on point. They charged me 15 extra dollars for my wife to ride along.. 42 total I thought was for 18 holes. We had to start on the back because of leagues starting up. So after finishing the back we went to the front nine and the lady came out and said we were done. I said I thought we paid for 18 holes and she again stated “ nope you’re done !”. So yeah that will be my last time golfing there. I really did enjoy the course the handful of times I’ve played there over the years and the course has really improved and looks a lot better…but not worth the price charged for 9 holes with a non golfing rider.

Would love to say I had a chance to play the course came two days in a row and was turned away, first day I arrived at 6 pm and was told I had to make it a quarter till(understandably)then the same women who told me that, told me the next day that I had arrived late when I was there at 5:30 seems like a nice spot to golf but the worker does not want to except business!!!
