e course was designed Donald Ross, who the course claims was "the best course architect the world bas ever seen." In any case loved the history the course had and definitely will be golfing here again. Really a fun and enjoyable course. Each hole has interest. A mix between elevation, gullies, and width. The front 9 and back 9 are separated by Kelsey Hwy and feel like two completely different course. Golf cart were new, fast, with great suspension and comfortable seats.

Hidden Gem! Great greens and fairways. Greens are pretty open but have interesting turns and are on rolling hills. Definitely try this place out! Only downside - bring your own food, they do not have anything but a few snacks and drinks (yes, you can get beer here). Enjoy your round!

I played here at 1pm Sunday October 20, a perfect 75 degree sunny fall day. Greens fee for 18 with cart was $50. Staff I met was friendly.This is not a long course by any means but don't let that fool you into thinking it's a cakewalk. With tight fairways, doglegs and blind shots you need to be strategic in your target and club selection with an eye towards your next shot and, if need be a good miss. Fairways were in pretty good shape and the greens were in great shape both for this time of year and given they were just micro aerated. They are small, and pin placement was sometimes tricky but never unfair. There is no water and bunkers never came into play for me. All in all it was a very enjoyable round, except for the last hole where I carded an 8 after losing 2 balls to leaves ( my fault I should have kept it in the fairway ) Round was 42/43. I drove 40 minutes from Grand Rapids and I'm really glad I made the trip.

Took my daughter here after years of driving by and seeing it without trying it. We had a really great time on the course. It’s surprisingly scenic and the water once you get back into the course definitely comes into play. Greens are a little nuts in my opinion (I had a putt that rolled within a foot of the hole and then back down to about 6-7 feet away) but that’s part of the fun. Guy that golf shop definitely wasn’t friendly at all, but I guess it is what it is. Overall, definitely worth a try.

I hosted a baby shower here October 2024. Hailey, the event coordinator, was delightful to work with, very responsive, and hands-on with set up and clean up. She even had a solution when I realized I under purchased some supplies. The venue is beautiful and spacious - I wish I had more picture to share of the view. We had a wonderful experience! Some things to keep in mind: it’s on the second floor but has an elevator. Parking is somewhat distant from the entrance but you can pull a vehicle up for loading to drop offs. They provide linens. You must use their facility for beverages unless you bring pre-packaged. Catering must be from a licensed kitchen.
