Played The Moor in the am and Donald Ross Memorial in the afternoon. It was a chilly mid-September morning and only 45 degrees with a breeze. Got off to a great start with a birdie on #1. The key was to take and extra club in the cold weather all morning. The back side is more difficult than the front. The course was in perfect shape. Fairways are very fair and the greens are protected. Managed to shoot 75 from the Orange tees. I would add it to your trip.

A very pleasant if unassuming course at Boyne. Several fun holes and a wild 15th with two wetlands guarding the entrance to the green and a Z=shaped 18th. I much prefer it to the Heather which gets rather tedious.

Played nearly all of the Boyne courses and this one should not be included in their portfolio. 10/10 hard pass — just play Arthur hills or the Ross memorial instead, you won’t regret it

Negatives- getting to the #1, and #6 tee box was a challenge. The #7 hole states, "cart path only" when there is no cart path. GPS needs to be more informative. Positives- friendly staff was very welcoming and the military discount was greatly appreciated. The course was in exceptional condition. Beautiful fairways and greens. Really enjoyed the play. As a single, I knocked out 18 in around 3.5 hours as a below average golfer.

The golf course was in excellent shape and exceeded my expectations. The course was challenging but fun. Suited for any handicap player.
