Love the Highlands! The staff is wonderful and the skiing is a lot of fun! Sometimes wish the people who stayed there were a little more considerate of other guests but the hotel cannot really help that. Overall a great stay and a wonderful time! Getting really pricey for how outdated some of the room features are but still comfortable and convenient.

Have not done the hotel this review is for the ski resort. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan while skiing. We love the terrain when there is enough snow that all lifts are open. I love their all day ski school for the littles and priced right, which is a game changer when you have littles and then advanced older kids you want to ski with. Great for the family and different type runs including greens blues and blacks that all meet up at the same area on the bottom. The heated C6 chairlift is also a game changer when it's a very cold day.

Took the kids here to ski and conditions were perfect. Tons of fresh powder, never stopped snowing and we were there all day. Yankee Station played live music for a couple hrs at Zoo bar and they were so much fun. Looking forward to going back up in a couple weeks.

Such an amazing ski resort. I had a special request during our stay and Anna at the front desk was so helpful. Wonderful experience all around and the best skiing in the Midwest!

Best lift ever! My wife is terrified of the chair lift but loved the C6 lift that leads to an amazing set of beautiful runs that are tolerable for newbies and fun for creative riding for more skilled riders. The more I explored highlands, the more amazed I was. Such a beautiful place.
