Arthur Hills was probably my favorite course to play while in Northern Michigan! Loved the layout and it was very scoreable! The par 5 was down the hill was such a cool shot and view. Would definitely play again when up there

Excellent golf course. Service and views were amazing. Well maintained and pristine greens. The back 9 was more enjoyable and picturesque than the front. So make sure you play a full 18 or try to play the back if you're only planning on playing 9.

The Hills course is a wonderful layout. The course sustained significant ice storm damage in early spring '25. The staff has done a great job preparing the course for summer play. The only complaint, a recurring one, is the cart GPS system. There is a significant downhill slope on the backside where the GPS alerts the driver that the speed limit is 8mph. One cart in our group exceeded 10mph and were given a 15 second time out. Seems like it would be pretty easy to electronically limit the cart rather than slowing play for the egregious error of not obeying the speed limit while driving the cart during a winding narrow stretch. There is a nice grill and beverage stand with restrooms that may be accessed from multiple holes during the round. This area has a self serve ice and water refill station.

GO PLAY THIS COURSE!! This was our final round of 18 for our weekend in Boyne and it was the best of the bunch. Think we paid right around $150 and it was worth every penny. Phenomenal conditions, firm and fast greens, fantastic variety of hole designs, and significant elevation change in a few spots (especially on signature #13) along with challenging placements to accommodate low handicappers and some forgiving tee boxes to pacify the high handicappers. Nice pro shop and friendly staff for Ross and Arthur. Food is pricey but you expect it. Lots of nice logo gear to choose from as well if you need a keepsake. Cannot say enough good things about this golf course(s). Donald Ross and Arthur Hills are THE BEST two courses Boyne has imho and I’ve now played them all. 10/10 would recommend and we will absolutely be back!

We loved this course! The views were spectacular! It is challenging but very fun. Loved the cart paths through the forest too. We would play this course again
