Smokies on the Water has an extremely friendly staff and management. The menu is loaded with great selections. I was there with a group of friends and can't wait to take my wife for our next date night.

Good food, place could use a little sprucing up, somehow a tad lack luster. Wait staff needs help, we ordered apps of steak bites & weren't asked if we wanted the butter sauce or the zippy sauce. So our gal decided to pick butter sauce on her own. Not cool. When there's a choice the diner should always be asked. Also the sautéed onion included the hard skinned outer rings & the mushrooms were paper thin & if there was an entire mushroom used it would have been alot. Very skimpy & the cook should have seen the ratio was way off. Dinner was the seafood pasta. Great sauce & plenty of it. But Angel hair pasta was over cooked, on the verge of mushy. 5 mussels, 4 shrimp & a handful of the tiniest baby scallops we've ever seen. Any way...

Great food and specialty drinks by Kim . Service is great and food portions are generous and reasonable prices. G I residents need to support restaurants on the Island. I grew up here and enjoy coming back.
